Mine has to be the Memphis victory. It was great to see a football school #1 over Duke and Carolina.

A couple of wins against Florida, the last Memphis wins, two Texas wins, Oklahoma State game. That's all I can think of off the top of my head right now. The two close losses to OSU were also memorable even in defeat.

The Pump Brothers' miserable failure in their attempt to pesuade Arizona to call Bruce was probably my favorite moment.

you were crying from happiness when Pearl led UT to #1. What happened hours later doesn't count against the excitement you expressed on here at that moment. how is that not your favorite moment?

Loftons shot over Durant. Beating memphis at fed ex is a close second though.

I tend to take the long view of things. In retrospect, the win at Memphis turned out to be a nice regular season win. Nothing more.

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned but beating UK in Rupp in '06 with Lofton having a great return to his old state. Plus the footage on that year's DVD showed CBP ripping his shirt off. That along with the easy win @ TX in '05 and Lofton's shot against them in '06. I witnessed the '06 Florida, where we rushed the court. Bradshaw's steal @ Fla and GW lay-up was sweet. And of course who could forget the Memphis win?

I've been at pretty much every moment of all the events of the Pearl era, save this Okie State loss and the game against Texas with the shot over Durant.
That being said, nothing was more incredibly awesome than the shot by Lofton against Winthrop.

Granted, it was against Winthrop, and we should have run away with it, and it was followed by a loss to Witchita State, but at that moment in time, there was nothing cooler. To us Tennessee fans, that was equivalent to the shot by Laettner. There was no containing my reaction after that.

Oh, and being on TV at the Women's 8th Championship win was pretty sweet. I got a piece of that net.

Beating Florida in TBA when they were the only undefeated team left. That was such an electric atmosphere and is my all-time favorite game I've ever attended in any sport.

The Checkboard of shirts against Kentucky was cool

I was at that game. If only we could have won that would have been at the top of my list. There's nothing better than beating KY. Don't forget that we beat KY in Rupp that year. That was a sweet victory.

Seeing this coach embrace the university this much was a boost for me. IMO he schools other coaches in getting involved.
