Just got one - so far have done hand cut fries (really good) and blackened grouper (good)

What are you making with yours that I should be trying?

I also use the air fryer for roasted cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, and roasted potatoes (not just French fries).

I don't have one. Which ones do you people have?
I have an 8-quart Instant Pot Duo. Doubles as a pressure cooker with one lid and an air fryer with a second lid. I’m really happy with it.

When I do a chicken, it sits in the Duo on its tail, taking up the whole space (works fine.) When I’m doing vegetables, I use an extra “shelf” that provides a second rack for better hot air circulation. For a fryer-only (normal) version, look for one with enough surface area that you can spread the food out in one layer.

For people who already have a pressure cooker and don’t want to have two, I’d recommend a separate, regular-shaped air fryer sized (both in capacity and dimensions) to take a whole chicken.

They are great for (1) quick, (2) low oil/grease, and (3) not heating up the kitchen in summer the way the oven does.

I have that original from as seen on TV. Got it for xmas last year. Don't have the extra rack accessory so it can't take a whole lot at once, except for the veggies. To compensate, I stand chicken legs on end. I can get 8-10 that way. I'd argue about hte quickness, as it still takes 40 minutes to air fry chicken in mine.

But, so far, burgers have been good. Taters as well, although i still prefer iron skillet taters and onions to any other method.

To do we wings, first my son smokes them, then I finish off in the air fryer to have really crisp. They are excellent that way. A simple wing trick we learned from eating at 17th Street Market in K'Town is to just dust the wings with yellow curry powder afterwards. Simple and excellent.

I do chicken legs the most. They are actually better than on the grill. Season with B&B Texas Trinity (a season-all), then a sprinkling of Yard Bird, Slap Yo Mama, or B&B Sweet Swine. Awesome legs.

just did a mini pizza - used a mini naan, sauce and mozz. 2 minutes on the naan alone then another 2-3 with the sauce and toppings. Great snack and easy peasy

We got one a month ago and really enjoy it so far. Chicken wings were great in it. I put them back in for a couple of minutes after tossing them in sauce and it was excellent.
