37" Panasonic plasma with that Best Buy wall mount. You know, no wires sticking out and such. That's it. :ermm:

This might be a n00b question, but I don't care. I have an Altec Landsing surround sound hooked up to my PC. I would like to hook it up to my tv- but it only has the single coaxial jack that plugs into the back of the PC similar to headphones. Is there an A/V adapter that with interface with my tv??

If you're doing a home theater system, get a home theater system. Not a computer system. Comp. speakers have an optimal range of about 4 feet.

It could work fine then, as my living room is quite small. Is there an adapter that allows a PC setup to work with a Tv?

Yes, there is an adapter (try Radio shack?) that will convert a 1/8" jack to RCA. Your sound will certainly be nothing stellar, though.

As for systems, my TV is still old school (projection, don't-even-try-to-steal-me big screen), but I have a Denon receiver and DVD player and Paradigm speakers that rock. Best "bang for your buck" in speakers that I've ever come across.

Thanks- the sound will be better than what I got- which is stock TV speakers :bad:

Computer speakers frequently run off of 3.5mm audio cables, while home theater components run off of RCA cables. Converting between the two isn't good for the sound quality.

Really, I hate it when people try and hack together cheap solutions for their stuff. If you want home theater sound, get the right system for the job. Go get a home theater in a box by Panasonic or Bose. They're not that much money and will be infinitley better than a computer speaker system.
