Predictions this week are:
Tennessee vs Clemson in Belk Bowl by SBnation
Tennessee vs Notre Dame in Music City bowl by Phil Steele
Tennessee vs Notre Dame in Belk Bowl by CBS

**Ive seen numerous bowl experts hint at playing Texas (liberty bowl) or maybe a big ten team in Music City bowl.
Seems like most think ND would be a likely matchup and that would be an interesting game for sure.

Seems Arkansas vs WVU is trending for liberty bowl so the ND vs UT game is seeming more likely. Either the music city bowl or the Belk bowl. Also I have seen some Iowa vs UT predictions.

I think we need a shot at Notre Dame. They have been in the top 10 this season. This is the only opponent with enough talent on it to actually earn UT any respect.

Washington Post said in an article that a possible bowl game for Maryland was against the Vols in the Music City. I seriously doubt that. That's the only prediction for that I've seen.

Bowl invites will begin shortly after the final games. Once the top 4 playoff teams are announced, the bowls will begin to fill up fast. I would guess we will know in less than 2 weeks. Usually a team with our record would not be considered for any except the lower tier of bowls. But UT travels well, and we are a team that the bowls want.

the SEC office selects which teams go to the these 6 bowls (Liberty, music city, belk, tax slayer, texas and outback). the word right now is real strong Vols to Memphis and Liberty Bowl

Personally I would love a matchup with Notre Dame but Texas would be fun too
