You wanna have some fun...?

there’s always one I guess……….50th for the FLORIDA gators is not a “win”……come on now……being like 13 spots behind Vandy…….is NOT a win.

I totally understand you guys are probably stoked you got a new coach. You guys believe in this guy and that’s good…….however are you guys “really” OK with the recruiting for now simply because you got a new coach whom you like?……I think so…..however that’s two “different” things.

I’ve seen a ton that had Florida as “loser”……if your being realistic I’m not sure how anyone could think “winner.”

Early Signing Period winners and losers: Texas, Texas A&M load up, Oklahoma, Clemson slide

College recruiting: National Signing Day winners and losers

National signing day winners, losers include Alabama, Florida State

And it's a miracle. Most people are happy. Go to a Gator recruiting board. They still have the late signing period, transfer portal, etc.

Not what anyone would want in a perfect world, but with one week and no staff......people are impressed.

So, laugh it up if you want, but we're honestly not upset.
I don’t think anyone with a brain or an understanding of the cyclical nature of this is laughing. But 47 suggests that the brand doesn’t precisely “recruit itself” as plenty of FL fans have and will still assert it does. It doesn’t. I’m not suggesting you be distraught, it’s football, but 47 isn’t good no matter how it’s explained or how much time he had. Notre Dame, on the other hand? Well done there. Also, CJH vs CBN, objectively, I choose CJH. Going back to their time as coordinators. Time will tell though.

I remember being like that.

Great, maybe you can spend more time on your own school's message boards. Take Lawgator with ya.

To be fair it don’t take long to discuss 10 commits. And none of them probably want to discuss being 50th nationally and 14th in the SEC.

yea it’s a Miracle only being behind Vandy by 13 spots.

I certainly remember trying to bring in the positives (with a new coach) however recruiting wise im not sure I’ve ever considered that much sunshine.

Sounds like us when we hired Dooley
Lol. Right?

And I'm not saying they have a decade like we had, but I'm not saying they won't either. And I don't care if they want rub their record against us in my face, have at it if you're happy with beating us and not winning the SEC or make the playoffs. Good for you.

They can tell themselves how happy they are. Lol, we're experts on that and I couldn't be happier at how happy they are.

Definitely not trying to be that "one" LOL! I'm just saying from a personal point of view I'm ok with ESD given the time that Napier's had to actually recruit. I'm definitely not thinking that this years recruiting is ideal, but it could be one heckuva lot worse too. On the other hand, you're right, people (including myself) can always find something to fit their narrative. Not trying to get into a giant internet pissing match about recruiting. you're entitled to your point of view, I'm entitled to mine

Everyone is entitled no doubt. I’m not really even trying to rag on you. We’re just Tennessee fans and we’ve been through it all. Now we’re just having some fun at Florida’s expense.

I was only getting at: I think fans are stoked that one coach is gone and now they have a new one……and have hope.

Hope is a good thing; however some folks may be using their “stokeness” and “hope” to make it “seem” as the recruiting (as of now) is better than it actually is.

It’s all good though most of us don’t mean any real harm.

I would bet money that you’re not a Vol fan.
. Oh I am, but here’s the deal we have l lost like 17 out of the last 18 to those guys and since 1990 are only 7-24 against them. I mean seriously would you really bet the house on UT beating Florida next season? In Knoxville or Gainesville or in Atlanta? It doesn’t matter who their coach is or if they suck or are really good they normally always beat us no matter what over the last 3 decades and that’s a fact.

Isn’t it 16 of the last 18 though?

Hay Tennessee was 3-1 from 01 through 04………I think Tennessee is getting back on track, we’ll see I guess.
