Napier is a relentless recruiter, this is the last year CJH will out recruit him unless we get better recruiters as position coaches, Gardner excluded.

I don’t buy we should “destroy” Florida next year. The fact they had a transfer or two and lost some commitments doesn’t really matter. What matters is how our juniors and seniors match up against theirs.

They’re still ahead of us based on roster quality. Now, we have Hooker coming back, and hopefully Cade and Tillman. That could help a lot.

I’ve looked all day and I was totally surprised.


However it seems like a total spin to me.

You guys got change that you wanted……and that’s great (for you all). However in NO way is Florida’s standing in the early signing period a good thing……not at “all.”

It’s WAY…….WAYyyyyyyyy bad. All the Florida fans simply seem to be spinning it……the change was good; however this is “still” bad……and because you got the change you wanted no one seems to be willing to simply say the obvious truth…….”it’s bad”.

Your usually a common sense foe…..and I’m usually “with you” on many things…..however this is FAR from “not what everyone would want in a perfect world.”

Ehh, It's only been a couple weeks. New coach and all. You'll be pissed soon enough.

Of course, if this was the norm, people would be pissed.

But, a new coach, on the job for a week, with no staff......what they achieved is pretty damn good. So, you have to put it in context. After the february signing date and the transfer portal, we'll see exactly where they sit. It's rare to have the kind of recruiting class you want after a coaching change. So, that's not the expectation this time around.

They landed quite a few highly rated people today and there are several who did not sign early who are on their radar, particularly several kids from Louisiana that they've had close contact with for a while.

Is it what you want and the building block of a championship team? No

Is it a complete disaster? No, it's not.

The positive and why people are happy is that these guys accomplished more in a week than the previous staff did in their entire time at Florida on the recruiting trail. And no, I'm not kidding.
