We should be very happy with the coaches we have here at Tennessee. Barnes has been amazing, hoping Holly turns the corner this year, Pruitt seems to have the right attitude, and Vitello we'll see if he can get the right SEC team a title. Guys like Shiano and Kiffen have the ability to completely destroy a program. Good coaches they may be. Is it really worth it? Can a program reach it's greatest potential with an honest coach?

Here's the Urban article on espn if you missed it. As society has evolved, Urban Meyer hasn't

rowing coach got an extention...Lady Vols volleyball coach just made a good hire...golf is getting much better...shoot, won't be long we'll be competing for championships in many other sports...so, it's all good, and Urban will be gone from college football, so it's a pretty good time to be a Vol...;)

Nice.

I think at the moment, we're in pretty good hands, with some good watchmen/watchpersons on watch.

Take a close look at the handshake in this video, marker 7:31 ...

I know their are lots of coaches I've left off. The rowing team does work their butt off. I see them on the water every time I run at the landing.

That video. Not my first time seeing it, but still had to reign in the emotions!

Having just read the article linked to the post I replied to I must say--what utter and total bullsh_t!! When will this stupid, weak, feminine society stop executing the men who make manly decisions and actually accomplish and win something in this world? I'm talking about Meyer and highly accomplished men like him, who are constantly being attacked--not men like this loser who beats his wife. I mean, it seems like every other article I read is a hit piece on men who do their job and accomplish great things. Eventually, that snake you gave a ride across the river on your back bites you, right? Maybe time for men to stand up and fight for other good men--no matter what team they coach/pull for.

What's the point. Was Phil giving a Masonic secret shake or something? Was it just extra affection shown? Don't understand.

Re: "What's the point."

MY point was/is-- that that-there setting (the Thank You's and Handshakes and ceremony in the studio), shows (to me) a setting of good leaders, where 2 leaders are showing honest genuineness + respect + care + honor to another leader. The there-giving of honor to who honor is due reciprocates being honorable. Apologies if you are reading anything else into it (i.e. "secret shake or something").

It is my faith, that that vid shows an example of where we are again / can be headed back to (including having male leadership deserving of Honor, in our AD dept + football + basketball program). Have a great day, livefaith!
