I think it should be time relative instead of post relative. I vote for 3 months membership prior to starting a new thread.

That could work. Or noobs could be required to have Mods approve new threads until a certain point. They make the bigs bucks anyway. Might as well work for it.:)

I would shoot for 100, because most of these trolls don't have a damn life to begin with, they will post 20+

I like the time aspect too because it would prevent folks from quickly posting 20 items to start a thread. I think 20 posts AND one week of membership would probably be best.

Great job, I think 20 is good for now. I know we have a lot of trolls on here and would like to make it more or whatever, but it wouldn't be fair to the TRUE Tennessee fans that are just finding out about the site or whatever.

id have to agree that this is a good thing... not that i start threads or even post much at all... but i HATE reading trolls from bammers and gators.

Another thing to look at would be putting a post time limit. Like if someone posts you can't post right after that for 30 sec. to a minute. I have seen this on a lot of other forums. This would keep the trolls from not being able to post 20 consecutive times and then start a new thread....Just a thought, we can see how it goes, and possibly use this later if we need to.

Well then I wouldn't be able to cuss someone out when they make a bad play in a game day thread for football or basketball, so maybe that would be a bad idea! :)
