They demolished Wyoming in Laramie in late November.

They beat BYU like they stole their lunch money.

They sold out Amon Carter to hammer Utah.

They beat AFA, in their closest game all year, on the road in a blizzard.

As good as the MWC bowl teams have looked, TCU looked that much better. They finished undefeated against BYU, Utah, AFA, Wyoming, Clemson, SMU...

TCU is the best team in the country. Down with the BCS!!

yeah and Cincy was one second away from playing for the NC and we saw how big of a joke that would have been...

It's still up to TCU to show up tonight and not act like this game is beneath them and that they should be playing for the NC.

IMO, better BCS matchups would've been:

Sugar: Gators vs TCU
Fiesta: Boise vs Iowa
Orange: GT vs Cincy

I rescind my earlier comment. Yesterday was my birthday and I wound up drunk on the internet after my friends dropped me off at the end of the night. I have no recollection of typing that. haha

Bama's going to roll on Texas.

Ill be the first to eat my crow when I'm wrong. I was wrong but I give a lot of credit to boise st. Maybe they are better than we all thought. TCU was the last team I would expected to lose out of all the MWC this bowl season.

Boise State scored on a pick 6 and because of a fake punt. Both these teams did the BCS a favor last night.

I hated these two teams being matched up, whatever happened last night we would not know where these two teams stacked up against the elite, we know Boise is no cream puff although they did not look very good last night. TCU didn't look great either. I would have much rather seen these teams play established elite teams, this way there would be no doubt they were for real.

The way it stands now some will say these teams got their bowl birth by playing very weak conference schedules and were possibly pretenders as Cincinnati was. Personally I think these were two very good teams, they might have been great teams but I would agree that know we will never know where they stack up against the more traditional powers.
