This program was burned to the ground, and Butch has been here for less than 3 years. He has made his share of mistakes, but if folks can't see progress that's just crazy to me.

It sucks big time to lose 2 big games in row the way we did, but this team and coach are far from over. Most said 2016 was the year; Butch said we were a year away; the fans said we are going to win the East this year and possibly make the playoffs if we can win the SECCG. When you expect things despite facts and warnings, you set yourself up for a big letdown.

So everyone, even cbj says next year we win the east. Georgia is younger than us, Florida will have their offensive philosophy in place (already proven better than ours) and Kentucky is doing great with what they have. But hey, I will take a guarantee sec east champs 2016.
I hope cbj makes 'no excuses' his slogan also. That would be perfect

This team has shown that they could easily be 4-0 right now. Butch isn't entirely to blame, but he should take the brunt of it. There's still plenty of time to turn it around; a 3-1 October would probably have most back on his side.

Near the end of the third quarter my wife asked "Can we take my mother out to dinner after the game?". She was stunned when I said "Let's go right now". I knew what was coming and couldn't bear to watch. Sad state of affairs.

Like it or not, we are to Florida what Kentucky is to us. "Whipping Boy". Our streak against Kentucky, there were a few close games, but we still pulled it out. Think of the 4OT 52-50 in 2007 I believe. Kentucky had us beat. They should have won, but didn't. Against UF, we should have won. We led most of the game. We should have won. Could have won. But end the end, we didn't.

On the other hand, how can you expect a team to have killer instinct, when the coa h has none?
How can you expect a team to finish strong, when the coach is playing not to lose by repeatedly putting the game on a tired defenses back?
A team is a direct reflection of their coach. CBJ doesn't know how to finish, and until he learns, neither will his players.

I'm gonna laugh when McEldouche gets stomped in the ground the same way Muschamp did after being an arrogant ass towards UT.

When did Mushamp lose to UT? His (McElwain) comments were about losing to UT. No other teams are/were involved.

Is this another example of a UT fan living through another fanbase?

I'm merely talking about how Muschamp said something along the lines of "It sure is great seeing so many upset UT fans" last year and then having a crap season of getting dominated afterwards.

If Karma came back on Muschamp, it will do the same with McElwain.

we are florida's patsies. They must laugh at our futility. Seriously. All I can do is laugh at it myself. I used to knash my teeth, 5,6,7 years ago. Now, one can only shake the head, again, and move on to other things. I think of our football program like I used to think about Vanderbilt--seriously. That's how bad it's gotten. Nobody has the balls to make plays when it counts--not the coaches and not the players. We choke games away constantly.

The sentence prior to saying you don't lose to Tennessee, he said they played their hearts out for the ALUMNI. Those players on the last 10 teams. CBJ hasn't discussed that. That's like 85 players on a team, and for the past 11 yrs, seeing the same result.Think of all the Seniors who graduated, and never beat UF. UK can say the same about us.

He's an outstanding coach who will do great things at Florida IMO. Look at the guy's pedigree, how he did as an OC at Bama and then look at how he completely turned around Colorado State. Yesterday was, by far, our best opportunity to beat a Florida team....ANY Florida team...from here on out it'll get progressively much more difficult.

Easy to say after the fact, the crowd thinned out when we went up 27-14. They needed two TDs and us to miss a field goal to win they stepped up and beat our team, out played or players

VOL fans need to wake up and understand that Booger Cheek does not give a shiite about sports. He is more interested in trying to be a center of learning excellence and support PC bullshiite. Until we get school admin that cares, were will continue to make do with bargain basement coaches. We will always be a 6.67 win per year team not counting bowls. That's just how it is.

You are wrong anytime any team beats the VOLS in any fashion, they celebrate big time. We are stinking it up and have been for a long time. Get it together Butch!

I'm just saying talk is cheap, after you win, it's been so long since we have won a big game you can't remember you acted and the florida coach is getting his money's worth. When we get back to winning it's just gonna be that much sweeter. Get it together Butch!

that's alright big brown Beaver teeth Jim earned the right to act like Steve Spurrier this year, but as Derek Dooley punching a hole in the ceiling of the dressing room said the same thing about beating Vandy the year before Franklin's Dores beat us learned ... Ok he never really learned anything.... But they are both gone now- so there. And Steve will soon be retired. Still funny as ever, he just can't back it up anymore. Jim will pay down the road.... Likely for teeth whitening gel

By all rights Fulmer was fired, and yes Kiffen bolted, and then Dooley.....strike three. Butch has got to get it together! We could go back to another faithless mercenary, bad idea. This losing sucks bad, the worst part is, we have created ways to lose. Get it together Butch!
