I could tell in the presser he was just happy for his players to see their hard work pay off. I would say that if they weren't bought in before the game, they are now. Same goes for a lot of fans, and hopefully a lot of recruits. The main thing keeping this team from being great is depth.

no need……Tennessee has coach Ekeler for all that stuff.
I forget after which big play (not re-watched yet), but Ekeler was going Bat-Shiiiiiiiiiiite Crazy on the sidelines, cheering and encouraging the boys. I thought, "wow, not seen that emotion from one of our staffs in a looooong time!" Great to have that back! CJH may be on his way from "where's my helmet?" territory to "WHERE TF IS MY GASOLINE SUIT, COACH?" because it does seem that he runs the locker room through actual work and results at this point, instead of "-isms" and empty drawly coach-speak. We've missed that around here.

Proud of our guys for yesterday. That being said the product on the field is going to be overshadowed by the investigation, and until they end it to give the results and possible consequences, it doesn't matter what we do it will be used against us in recruiting. Legal and that other firm need to get their ducks in a row and get this thing done. All of it was to prevent paying buyouts and its stupid! If they would have just said you can take nothing or take 2 million to leave, they would have taken it and signed a NDA to keep everything quiet. We are our own worst enemy and the athletic department deserves an administration who will think about these things as a whole.

1. F an NDA, man. Unless you’re dealing with weapons platform development or secret sauce proprietary software, they’re useless. Sunshine is the best disinfectant. It would be unenforceable anyhow given it would deal with nondisclosure of illicit conduct in violation of contract, NCAA rules, SEC rules, and possibly criminal statutes. I won’t even speculate on geographic overbreadth.

2. Any executive that pays $2 million when they don’t have to is either gutless, irresponsible, or both.

3. Everyone is making hay about the running tab to Bond, Schoeneck, & King, but I’d seriously be shocked if it made a serious dent in the UT System’s legal budget for FY 2021.

4. Aren’t you hijacking this thread? Sorry @Freak

Thinking the same thing. NCAA needs to speak.

Yeah. NCAA is going to wait until UT has it rolling and some positive momentum, then and only then will they Impose the sanctions

NCAA can't/won't do anything until UT ends its own internal investigation. At that point the NCAA may be good with what we found and whatever self-imposed sanctions we give ourselves, and those sanctions would be a joke IMO.
