Sounds like a defeated players excuse.

LSU is simply much better than the suckeyes.

OSU isn't that good, and that should be apparent.

As Rome said today, they had all year to listen to the naysayers, they were on paper the #1 denfese in the nation, they were there to avenge last years loss, to stand up for themselves and the Big 10, they were playing to shut up all the SEC folks. . . and they couldn't do it; and were never close.

Nothing points more towards a weak schedule than does that statistic in light of the NC game and how LSU's offense (not our league's best) played so well against them.

We know LSU was the best team tOSU played. However, of the teams LSU played this year, where would tOSU rank as an opponent?

4th or 5th maybe?:dunno:

1 - Kentucky
2 - Arkansas
(You have to rank them that high because they won)
3 - Florida
4 - Auburn
5 - Tennessee
6(maybe) - osu

this is a LSU player saying this about ohio state. OSU is better than florida (see michigan) and Tenn.

All the above, plus UGA, could play with and possbily beat the top 5 Buckeyes. How well they would do in the SEC would be a function of scheduling, but either East or West division and they would have faced a more challenging route to the conference championship, much less a free pass to the NC.

OSU is not better than Florida. If you want to use the see Michigan logic wouldn't than mean that since UT beat the badgers, they would stand a hell of a fighting chance with THE most overrated team in NCAA history?

I think all you have to do is look at the bowl records for each conf. Im pretty sure the SEC was 7-2, with the only blowout being Arkansas.

UF really blew it. We should have been 8-1, guess I get greedy as a SEC fan, sometimes.

A 2 loss SEC team stomped the best the Big 10 has to offer.....that's all that needs to be said. However, I would love to see LSU play USC.

That comment about speed sounds like an LSU player feeling bad for the football players on the other side of the field. He HAD to find SOMETHING good to say. I'm not as much into all that SEC speed stuff. All D-I players are fast at the fast positions (WR, Defensive Backs) and, when you have an angle, there just isn't that much difference between 4.3 and 4.5. I do, however, think the SEC is more talented top to bottom: in coaching, level of players and fan/school support.

Don't jump all over me, I stole this from Dave Attell

You know what the best thing to do in Ohio is?

you barely beating a lousy wisconsin team is an argument against the sec being so fantastic.

The sideline interview with Jamarcus and Troy personifies the difference between the conferences. Both are NFL players, nonetheless.
