You gotta love the props for the SEC....

I don't think speed was the difference last night, as much as last year anyway. LSU was just a better football team. SEC's best was better than Big Ten's best. Period.

SEC puts 9 teams in a bowl, wins 7.

Not even Droski can refute the conference issue, and retain any credibility.

you barely beating a lousy wisconsin team is an argument against the sec being so fantastic.

Just noticed you live in Cal. Is that for medical reasons? Moderation might help today. When you read this tomorrow, you're going to be disappointed in yourself.

As opposed to the AF team (with a 1940s offense) that y'all barely beat in the Charmin Toilet Bowl.

I don't know. Wisconsin is a repectable opponent. Beating them without 3 starters (including our 1,000-yard WR) and 3 prominent backups isn't too bad. TN had shades of pulling away but, as throughout this entire year, they just didn't want to.

you getting dominated by a 7-6 cal team is another argument as to why the SEC isn't obviously superior.

Droski = bitter fan of a team that crashed and burned.

We feel for you, but making absurd arguments don't change the facts.

I was waiting for this comment. Hey doc, I think the Cal team that whipped TN would've done the same to OSU. What happened to you guys? I really thought you were gonna make a run.

actually we got dominated by a 0-0 Cal Team. I think most of us look back on that game now as "how in the world could we lose to a suck team like that?".

the answer: that's why they play the games.

Fortunately for us, we rebounded after the 1st qtr of the season, Cal apparenly was "spent" after that game.....:whistling:

OSU is not better than Florida. If you want to use the see Michigan logic wouldn't than mean that since UT beat the badgers, they would stand a hell of a fighting chance with THE most overrated team in NCAA history?

Meat, Peach...Meat!!!

Ya bringin' the Meat today baby!!

Unfortunately for Cal, beating UT was the high point of their season. High hopes were dashed within a month or so of the big win. So Droski and his brethren are understandably upset that D. Jackson and the country's best QB Longshore didn't take them to the promised land. Not mention, yet another year losing to USC. So we probably need to exercise a little sympathy for Droski's whining.

Further, droski, since you won't admit how your logic is not up to snuff. You say that our sweaking by a lousy UW team is evidence that the SEC is bad; however, would that not also mean that Michigan beating a lousy UF team (had more SEC losses that UT) is evidence that the Big Ten is even lamer than we had previously imagined?

Droski....you all barely escaped Air Force...

You were getting flat out embarssed at one point...

they are 7-11 all time against the sec. the problem has been bowl games

Yes. You are right. The problem has been bowl games. Because Vanderbilt, and Kentucky don't play in bowl games. 6 of the 7 wins tOSU has against the SEC All-Time was against Vandy, and UK.

ohio state has better talent than every team in the sec except LSU and Florida. they are just young.

Srry man....no offense but I gotta disagree with that....I would say that on any given day ANY team in the SEC with the exception being maybe vanderbilt and ole miss.... could easily beat OSU....Have you forgotten about Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee (which did beat OSU last time we played them Eddie Georges senior Heisman Trophy winning year)
Alabama typically could although they are in an rebuilding mode, UK would have given them a heck of a game at least in the middle of the year this year, South Carolina can sneak up on anyone and has beaten them twice before...So i guess you can see the point Im at least trying to make....:ermm:

the big-10 has a very good record against the SEC over the years.

Michigan is 20-5 vs the SEC....of course there is a big "10-0" beside Vanderbilt's name. Yes, Michigan is 10-0 against mighty Vanderbilt.

Michigan only has a winning record against, Mighty Ole Miss, Mighty UK, Mighty Arkansas, and Florida.

Since Michigan has played Ole Miss, and Arkansas they have combined for approximately 0 SEC Championships, and of course when the win over Kentucky occured, Kentucky basketball was 25 years away from their first SEC Title.
