I don't want Butch at UT; successful or not. He is never going to be a great coach but rather an average MAC conference successful coach at best. Bells should have gone off when he proclaimed his staff he had when he got here to be the best in the country. Ugh.

I wish some would stop with this quick fix crap. It's been 4 years and we had the talent to be alot better. I will say the injuries definitely hurt us but not to the point of losing to vandy and south Carolina. It's put up or shut up. I love coach Jones and hope he succeeds here because of his passion but just because fans are critical doesn't mean we are Negavols. I was born in the 80s and grew up through the 90s watching the Vols. Winning was part of the program. I'll watch the Vols every week no matter what but I'll not settle until this University gets back to those standards. I'm a competitor that don't like to lose. I get so tired of all of you going around saying that just because some of us are old fashioned fans who push for the best that we have become annoying and Negavols. I push my kids the same way and especially my boy playing football because I'll not accept a losing effort that just simply gets by. I want to win and I want him to win but he has to earn it. Don't want him to fall on his face, at all. Want him to fix the issues, stop with all the excuses, get much better communicating with the press and fans and meet and exceed expectations on the field.

Butch isn't doing us a favor by gracing us with his presence. He is paid to be here and he is ostensibly here to win real Championships. Safe to say that if you prefer to not have your feet held to the fire or face scrutiny, don't come coach at a traditional SEC powerhouse. Expectations will remain sky high, just the way it is.
