Question: how come nobody attacks Dobbs for missing wide open receivers, throwing behind receivers, overthrowing receivers, fumbling, or forcing an interception? I agree he did some good things today, but is everyone really so anti Worley that they ignore that Dobbs did all those things tonight?

Worley doesnt fit the scheme. Its not personal or anti in any way. He just dont fit.

First time I've said I can't wait to watch a vols loss on my DVR since I've had DVR. I only saw about 9 minutes of action. My parents were there helping wash out the red. Proud of them too because good grief that was a lot of bammers.

You're ridiculous! If you don't see this doesn't stack up I don't know what to tell ya! Poorly coached is what I see!

Dobbs needs to be more accurate for us to get to 6 wins or more. He gave us a spark, but can he lead the team from the first snap and throughout the week of game prep? We're about to find out ... Go Vols!!!!

Please just go away. Dobbs makes plays. He doesn't hold the ball and take a sack. He made plenty of throws tonight that Worley cannot make. He makes everyone around him especially the o-line better

I guarantee Worley would've been able to hit the receiver on that should've been touchdown to cut the lead to 10. So how about you just go back to your mother's basement instead of acting like a little prick?

Dobbs did do all of that. This was also his first week of practice where he got significant reps with the first team. More reps will equate to better timing and communication between Dobbs and his receivers. It's not about being anti-Worley. It's about who gives us a better chance to win. A mobile QB, which Worley is not, helps mask the woes of our inexperienced OL. Worley is all Vol, no one can question that given the punishment he's taken this year, but does he give us the best chance to win? Tonight's performance by Dobbs leads to me being inclined to say no. Dobbs gives us the best chance imo. Sure, it was just one game, but it was one game against a highly rated rival with an outstanding defense. I think that at least earns him the start next week.

I would never suggest anyone enjoy a moral victory or even allude anyone should tale enjoyment in a loss. But short if a win this was a good showing. The thread title was meant for whatever negative spin you might put because there could be several. Bottom line team 118 was dead on the operating table and has been ressurected.

Enjoy that because we were a pubic hair from being pronounced doa on the season.

Thank you for the mature answer as opposed to the Memphis douche. I'll agree with all that, except I'm still really inclined to say that Bajakian set Worley up for failure, especially against Florida. And everyone on here blasted Worley nonstop like the guy had an affair with their wives. If Worley is out for the rest, I have no problem with Dobbs. But it just baffles me how so many people *****ed about Worley and Dobbs made the exact same mistakes.

But can you guarantee Worley would have gotten us into position to have a chance to throw that td pass? You can't because nobody could guarantee that.

Worley and Dobbs are completely different qbs. The system Butch uses leans heavily in favor of a qb like Dobbs. That's not knocking Worley, it's just accepting that his skill set is not the skill set that best fits this offense.

Bajakian's playcalling is absolutely questionable, but I think it more indicative of his ability as an OC than him setting Worley up for failure. Bottomline, the offensive system is geared more for a mobile qb than a pocket passer. Worley's problems can be attributed to the staff trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Bajakian could've used the exact same gameplan from Georgia and beaten Florida by 17. He obviously knows how to use Worley because he's done it. That's what I don't get.

This statement can't be proven. Florida has a good defense. I can guarantee they watched the UGA gametape. Using the same gameplan may have resulted in a worse loss. It might not have, but you can't say for certain either way.

As for Bajakian "obviously" knowing how to use Worley, I disagree. Behind a fully healthy OL, he might be able to use Worley well enough to win, but behind the patchwork OL we're forced to use, I just don't see it.

He called 2 plays over the middle the entire Florida game. One was about a 17 yard gain to a tight end (the only call all game to a tight end) and the other was the final pick. That's it. Everything else was stupid bubble screens to the sideline that Florida swarmed. They could blitz all game because nothing was thrown over the middle. That's how Worley was able to pick apart Georgia. Quick drops and putting the ball over the linebackers. Florida's defense is not better than Georgia's by any means. He was content with a 3 point lead and played more conservative than a Texas politician.
