C'mon folks I'm Just as disapointed as all of you but all this Sumlin talk? Really??? It's Houston!!! They were 5-7 last year! We owe it to Dooley to give him 4 years for taking this job and having passion for our traditions. Don't get me wrong if he doesn't win 7 to 8 games and struggles to run the football he is prolly gone but damn let's give him a chance. We've got some good talent coming back next year with some scars and experience as he calls it. Lets' quit talking about the uncertanty of this program because we are going to kill this recruiting class. Plus if Dooley was fired today we will have a huge set back. And if you guys don't think he knows all this your crazy. He knows he is on the hot seat next season and if we keep this up the recruits will also. So it's up to you Volnation. Go Vols and Go Dooley!

We were 5-7 this year! And yes please don't give me this is the SEC rant. 5-7 is UT football. Wow it still makes me sick to my stomach. Just saying. Not endorsing Sumlin.

It galls me that this is all a lot of you Dooley-ites expect from a team that has been pointed to for years as our best chance to win

Dooley gets next year - any theory to the contrary is silliness. His buyout and the fact that no HC worth his salt would come to a program where you are expected to fix a grease fire in less than 2 years are the main reasons

Yea and losing Bray for half the season and Hunter for pretty much the whole season had nothing to do with having a terrible year. Fulmer nor Kiffin would have done any better with the exact same roster and injuries imo.

Tell me why Stoops would leave OU? First off they would rape us and second they would pay more than we offer to keep him. He can go to BCS games every year there

I was making fun of all the morons on here who believe a guy like Stoops would come to UT right now.

I doubt he thinks it's simple.

Apparently we can only afford 4-5 million. Stoops aint coming for that.

I agree he wouldnt come for that and he wouldnt come for 6 or 7 milion either. No one wants to come here right now. Tennessee isnt as attractive as it use to be and there are a lot of programs needing a coach. A lot of those could match whatever we offer.

no coach worth his salt would lose his players and a game to Kentucky either. This leaves us with a problem

Stoops is over rated as a HC. As a supposed defensive guru his teams are getting run over and thru this past few years.
