You can EXIT the Lane Train here>>>>

This is for all the guys crying "out coached" and "out played" and "leaning" to get off the Lane Train....

You fair weather wanna bes don't understand the difference between being beaten by a better team and loosing.
You still live under the illusion that UT is a top tier team. We aren't and we haven't been for 5-7 years. We were a paper tiger for most of the early 2000's. We've been exposed.

If you aren't patient enough to rebuild then

Exit here >>>>>>>>________________

I, for one, am tired of hearing you b_tch!

Is this the same as not knowing the difference between losing and loosing, lol. I, for one, am tired of hearing how much better we were compared to last year, BS. Is it likely that we will be much better down the road? Probably, but only if Lane can keep us out of trouble.

maybe that fact that our O-line couldn't stop the Tech D-line from harassing and/or sacking our quarterback has something to do with the fact that we didn't pass on 15 yards and longer 3rd downs...by the way...shhhhhh...don't tell anybody....but, when you have to pick up 10, 15 yds or more the receivers have to run longer routes which take more time which means the QB has to have a pocket that will stand up longer...don't feel bad, though....there are a lot of folks that don't know this based on the stupidity of their posts.

I know, I just laugh at these fans. Its obvious that having any football knowledge is not required to post on a message board. They would all be crying if he did drop back and only threw it 10 yards, because the line was getting dominated. This was the cause of the loss, which is mostly attributed to poor recruiting the last few years. If you have no o-line and no front seven on defense, you can get beat down.

I have rode the Tennessee train through several coaches.... McDonald-Dickey-Battle-Majors-Fulmer and now Kiffin and BY FAR this is the best ride yet

Its going to be funny to see all of these tards slurping Kiffin in about 3 or 4 years with his players.

I feel we got out coached and got out played. It's stupid to say we weren't.

However, I don't hate Kiffin and still think he's going to be a very good coach. Everyone just had a bad game. Simple as that.

To who made this thread and others like him.
You can go find another team here ->>>

Thank you for the invitation but I'll stick with my Vols.... who by the way, go their butts handed to them and I didn't scream that everyone associated with them should be fired or questioned the heart of any player wearing orange....

Find your own team or represent the orange with more than just anger and delusion.

+1!!!

Damn, some of you on here are pathetic as fans. Believing we have a TALENTED squad across the board is down right stupid. We won as many, maybe even 1 or 2 more, than we should have. We have a completely new staff...which means new plays and sets on both sides of the ball.

Yeah, we played UF/Bama tough on the road. Sure, we should have beaten UCLA. But, if you honestly look at this team, WE ARE A 7-6 TEAM. PERIOD. Will we be worse next year with a new QB and new offensive line? Maybe.

We competed every single game this year til the end. UNLIKE LAST YEAR WHEN WE LAYED DOWN IN THE 2ND HALF. Shut up, take a seat on the train, or GTFO.

You missed the point of the OP. It is what you have espoused, but you gave the guy who dissed it a +1?

Amazing....

How in the hell can you sit there and say we were not out played? Did you watch the game?

I'm a huge fan of CLK, but we were definitely out played tonight - no matter what way you look at it.

We were definitely beat. They had better talent. The guys played hard, they just got beat. It wasn't as if they laid down, which I would call out played. They simply didn't have the guns to pull it off.

Didn't even see the typo in my haste....a pox on my typing skills....!

only good thing about the fball season being over is that we don't have to hear from a bunch of idiots every saturday.

It is much easier to "out-coach" when you have a group of great players and several years of successful bowl history as opposed to having to work with a few outstanding players and a program that has been down for the last 5 - 7 years. If we had made the coaching change back when everything went South we might have been more up to the job. I do wish Kiffin had shown Beamer more respect as he is a great coach with an outstanding record. The most embarrassing thing for me was having to watch the game with fans from other SEC schools and see the hangdog expressions on the face of folks wearing orange. I dread next year which will be tougher than this one but I sure look forward to 2011 and after. We have not always been a top tier team but we are coming back.

Not at all. But I think it's a little bit of a cop out to chalk this one up to being outcoached. Va Tech is clearly just better than we are. I don't think they are 20 points better, but they are definitely better.

I would have to agree. From the get go they looked like the better team. Lack of depth and all of our injuries played a key role in this debacle. I am committed to Coach Kiffin and crew. I haven't felt this pumped about VOLS football in a while. When I was at UT everyone hated Spurrier (when he was at FL) but everyone respected him and wished we had a coach like that.....now we do. We will get back to the top tier but it doesnt happen overnight......

Va Tech had better talent--not much UT could do with a bare cupboard, thanks to phil fulmer, who walked away with millions as a reward for failure.

AMEN! Last night was the attack of "fans" that know next to nothing about the game. It's over with,we saw what areas we are week in,and we need to worry about recruiting....the lack of recruiting skills the last few years is why where in the mess.

there was a reason half way through the season VT was a national title contender. they where light years ahead of us on the field this year.

No, what's amazing is your sarcasm to my post THEN TURN AROUND AND SAY THE SAME. Instead of going through the thread and making a page of your comments based on others to pad your comment stats, do us all a favor and post once with your flip flop opinions. Amazing huh? Clown.

And for the millionth time, unless VT is better than Bama and UF. we shouldn't have lost by more than 3 TD's like we did. We just weren't prepared.

We lost to a very good team. Mark my words. Virginia Tech WILL go to a BCS bowl next year. We've got a year or so to go before we do. Although... if we can work out the issues the SEC east is WIDE open next year.

I can't get over how many asshats sat on there hands in the second half. We outnumbered them 3 to 1. Maybe 4 to 1. We could have been so loud. Ut weren't. When I complained they kept saying they had nothing to cheer for. These are the same oeople who sit there with arms crossed in the west stands. It wad great to see all the orange but ****! Make some noise!

Lane Kiffin and co. have done a pretty darn good job this year considering that the "cubboard" was really bare due to Fulmer's incompetence the last few years. He got our guys to play way above their previous level. Had Fulmer been coaching this year, we win maybe 3 games . . . tops. We would have lost to Florida and Alabama by a combined score of 275 - 6.

I know the kicker couldn't kick two field goals so you must be saying he will miss the only point after attempt.

Wow, you really are dense....I started the thread!

I've read it.Maybe you should READ IT! I'm replying to people not "padding my comment stats" like that would mean jack sh*t anyway. I haven't flip flopped on anything.

Sarcasm? Well buddy you win... now that's sarcasm.
