Don’t get me wrong.
I enjoy it and get invested too, but life comes at me fast so I don’t have the energy to invest in caring beyond that 30 minutes.
It all changed for me after watching a Tennessee vs Bama game with my grandfather…a National Championship Vol. We had a winning FG blocked then they Kicked a FG to win. My grandfather taught me that day that life goes fast so you never overdo the wins or loses.

I’m on Long Island. I had planned to train into the city and watch the game at a Vol bar. Then stay the night and walk and bike around tomorrow.

It is pouring rain all day and in the 30s in the morning. So I will probably stay in LI, go to a sports bar to watch basketball all day and be in great shape for our game.
