Losing to a downtrodden LSU team minus their best player is inexcusable for a possible #1 seed. The Gators took the day off today - Billy Donovan is too good of a coach to let them take another day off on Tuesday. It is going to take a complete team effort on offense and defense for UT to keep this close, let alone win.

lol... Your right.. I guees I shouldn't make the drive from Nashville on Tuesday. It won't even be close.. Noah isn't healthy according to the papers in Gainesville.(sick) Brewer claims to be "worn down", and Horford says they don't have the "passion".. They have to play us two nights from now.. Their offense has struggled the last two weeks. Plus, they have to face a big-time atmosphere on the road.. I'll put 100$ that we win on Tuesday.. What say you DowntownVol??

As much as I would love to see us win...... I'll take that bet if no one else will. Matter of fact, make it a thousand.

And the lawgator vacation continues..

He's worried, and he should be.. Florida has not looked that good since that lost to Saturday.. He also didn't like it when someone pointed out that Bernard King was better then Noah.(Law said Noah was better than any player to ever play for UT) I hope Duke or Wayne knocks all of his teeth out on Tuesday night.

He's not even a little worried. Someone tell him that UT can beat UF and he will put that laughing smiley.

I wish Florida had won b/c I want the SEC to play well and represent in the NCAA tourney.

But I actually want Florida to play well against us and be at tip-top shape. We don't have to beat Florida - but it's more important for the team to be playing well. And I'll say the same for Georgia and whoever we play in the SEC Tourney. This team thrives on playing quality opponents, and they won't get better playing teams that aren't at their best.

I'll be honest, I like it anytime Florida loses. I don't care if it's before or after they play UT.

UF lost 4 of 6 this same exact time last season so it'll be interesting if they rebound the same. The early double digit deficits will have to stop for them to have any chance to beat UT on the road. I forsee alot of 3's raining down on UF.

All tied up in important litigation I bet. :birgits_giggle:

I was in trial out of town last week. I defend Sheriffs in civil litigation. A guy with a long history of sex offenses against teenage boys sued for false arrest because, on a particular occassion, he was arrested without cause, though the circumstances were suspicious. Let's just say the deputies were not going to leave him at the underage drinking party where they found him, even if the charge they arrested him on was dubious.

So, mock me all you want, but I was defending some folks who might have done the wrong thing for the right reason. His lawyer asked the jury for $30,000 and the jury awarded him $500.

As to the Gators, from what I hear, they played their worst game of the season yesterday. I have really been out of it and focused on what I'm doing so I don't know about these issues alluded to by others.

Obviously, something is not right with the team at the moment and they are running out of time to address it. As we all saw last year, it is critical to go into the tournament on a roll and peaking, as opposed to tired and maybe even a little bored. Donovan has his work cut out from him, from what I've seen the least couple of weeks.

I don't think there are any teams out there that can beat the Gators on a neutral court, actually I like Tennessee's chances over alot of the high ranked teams of pulling the upset at a neutral site.

I know where you want to go with this, Florida is not going to win another NCAA tournament championship this year. Please don't even insinuade that.

I know. No worries. Just didn't want anyone to think I'm down on the Gators and unwilling to predict that they win this, what, Tuesday night?

Going to be a tall order for Florida to win. But, if they want to lock up that 1-seed, they probably need to beat both UT and Kentucky.

Why not? If they get back to where they were I would take them over anyone.
