Yet ANOTHER rumor for VN

Irrelevant. Anyone who blames the offensive struggles on anything other than Fulmer's love of his hillbilly QB and his no talent TB is whistling past the graveyard.

Hey, hat, something we can agree on. Hard to get an ol to block for for an rb who missses most of the holes and can't beat a mac linebacker to the corner. Let's hope somebody else gets to carry the ball and Stephens' play was encouraging enough to the other players to lift their spirits. It really is true that you can't fool the kids, they know who should be playing and who should not; and when the hc doesn't play the right guys, the players lose respect for him. :fool:

Why isn't clawson blamed for this terrible QB play and offensive production? Isn't he the QB coach and OC?????

Cut even hinted around the fact that Crompton couldn't get it done. This is in no shape or form Clawsons offense, ole Phil is calling the shots

not to say that Clawson is free of blame, but what about our offense this year makes you think that a guy that ran a version of the spread at his previous job is actually calling the plays that have been run this year...

It a well known fact that Clawson has never been comfortable with having JC as the starting QB. And that Cut would have prob started someone else. CPF has final say on all decisions, so let's put blame where blame is due.

I blame Fulmer more than anyone else. It really upsets me even more knowing now that we had a QB setting on the bench this whole time that was better than JC. It really makes me wonder about Fulmers abillity to judge talent, and how many others are on the bench that maybe should be starting.

cutcliff leaves gives duke a breathe of life. trooper doing what he does best in OSU and has a rusher with 8 TDs and average of 141 yards a game with an undefeated cowboys team who brought creer to knoxville.

i wonder, just wonder, what would be different if trooper was oc instead of clawson. could u imagine the lack of smiles from chavis?

ok i did take a look at their opponents and not exactly cream of the crop but neither are NIU or UCLA..but look at the stats:

Offense:

TDs Yds PassYds RushYds
30 530.2 215.0 315.2

their leading rusher has more rushes than our top two combined and a QB already over 1K with a qb rating over 200, im getting that sick feeling ive been having on saturdays lately..

phil, i understand this isnt the way you saw yourself riding off into the big, orange sunset but your judgement and play calling is gonna have a posse chasing you out of town if this keeps up.. to clawson, visine in phils' jelly doughnut on friday would be greeeat, mkay?

Here's a name to throw out there. . .assuming the Bengals keep losing, Marvin Lewis would be an awesome choice!

The offense at OSU has been great for years.
