The three realistic candidates that appear to be left on the board are:

Sumlin

Just fired from SECW... I mean just fired. Do I think he’s a pretty good coach? Yes, but this is just a bad look. He would win more than Butch, but he wouldn’t ever get us into the CFP - just my opinion. And the image of handing millions of dollars to A&M’s failed coach is not one that will help restore the university’s image.

Miles

Record of 141–55, NC. He’s a bit odd, but is hungry to get back into it. Tee could be OC/HC-in-waiting. Arguably most compellingly, rumors abound that he wants the job. This doesn’t seem to be a tough decision.

Kiffin

Believe it or not, I think he would win the East. I think he’d beat Saban, too. But, this is irrelevant because he’s clearly still not mature enough for the gig, and the powers that be aren’t going to consider him.

So, take it for what it’s worth. I thought I’d start a thread and let people yell at me. I just can’t believe that with Miles out there we're not considering him.
