Are you KIDDING me...East teams can lose to West teams and it still be counted to the team's SEC record and vice versa

They matter, but SEC East only counts with W's and L's in the East...If Bama beats The Dawgs as far as the east and west SECC it doesn't matter...The east will send one team and the west will send a team...

And if a team from the east or west has 1 SEC loss and the next team in their division has 2 SEC losses, the team with 1 loss goes to the SEC title game in Atlanta and it doesn't matter which division the 2 losses came from. Saying w's and l's only count if they come from opponents in the same division is wrong..

Didn't start watchin till I was 10 (2002)

Then you don't understand the hate UT fans have for Bama.

I'm not being a smartass or anything, you just wouldn't understand unless you can remember the torture Bama use to put UT through.

Thank God I can't really remember it

I can and it has felt great to keep on beating them on a regular basis. Hope we can keep it up while Nick Satan is there as well.....

Unfortunately, the key ingredient in the "Fire Saban!" soup - losing to Auburn - is not likely to happen. On the other hand, if the Tigers, bad as they are, were to pull the upset, oooooooooh boy, wouldn't it be fun to hear the grumbling start in Tuscaloosa?!!

I can remember it. Thanks to th BcS I am just now getting to where I root for BAMA outside the conference. Inside the conference..... forget about it.

I would have a hard time rooting for Bama to win to place us in the SEC champ game (if we ever play for one again).

I don't really care about how Bama does. I wouldn't mind if they came into the UT game looking good. When I was watching the game yesterday between Georgia and Alabama I was enjoying it not caring who won. I personally can't stand losing, especially not to Florida, Georgia, or Alabama, but other than that, I don't mind how they do. No one here is going to give me any grief about it...

Short of UT winning, Bama losing is one of the best feelings in life.

I don't know... I think in a Bama/Florida matchup, I would reluctantly pull for the Tide, now that this whole newfangled overtime thing makes a tie impossible.
