Where in the world did you hear about something like this? You must have really been scraping the bottom of the barrel.View attachment 10051I am back on XBOX LIVE. If you get the red ring of death wrap you xbox in a towel for ten minuts letting it heat up. It remelts the soder that pulls away over time and BAM green light. Make sure and let your XBOX sit and cool after to re harden the soder. :dance2:
A friend told me about it and I shrugged it off. Then I looked on the net and BAM there it was. I was goin to spend 100.00 to send it back so I though what the hell and I am back.Where in the world did you hear about something like this? You must have really been scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Glad to have you back though, you might the only person out of the VN clan who doesn't mind play deathmatch.

So far knock on wood I've yet to have a problem with my 360 that i bought when they first came out. But one day after coming in from work I'd noticed that my little girl had use my remote to turn on my 360, and when I looked at my 360 all rings was flashing and it was hot to the touch inside the enclosed entertainment cabinet. I ask my mother-in-law (who was keeping my daughter) how long was it flashing...... She said about 6 hours!!!
Anyway I thought it was dead, but it has worked like a charm since so after reading about that article sometime last year it makes me wonder if my 360 went through the same thing...
