We ran their ass for about 10 years when Ray Goff and Jim Donnan were their coaches. Before that we had only played about 20 times but we had lost more than we won. Since 2000 they have run our ass. We have 6 wins in 25 years. They have beat us 8 times in a row and are 98-14 in that stretch. Hell yes, storm the field, it would be a huge program win.

I don’t think it is as talented as 2022. Still don’t think we win, but I don’t think it is that level of team.

I’d say we probably do storm if we win, and it would be more fitting than storming against last year’s Bama team that had just lost to Vandy.

Sorry I just don’t want to give them that satisfaction. I’m sure we would if we did win though.

Their line averages 6’6 330 and 3rd year.

ILB (5 star)
and bunch of other talented guys in their two deep. CJ Allen. Chris Cole. A bunch of dudes.

You don't storm the field to announce to the world that you're "back." It only reminds the world how far you had fallen, at least for a few years. If I recall correctly, we beat UGA for 9 yrs straight in the '90s. The BEST celebration would be to act like it's not a big deal, and just get ready for the next one.

The money they would get from us storming the field they can use for NIL money.....UGA gets every penny of that fine....Not hard to figure out....Not to mention it's just stupid.

Tennessee would be fined $500,000.00 if the fans storm the field...That also means ticket prices WILL go up next year to make up for it, all for wanting to run on the field and look like idiots....Pretty selfish if you ask me.

I wouldn't cherry pick 2000 as the starting point of their dominance in the series. Mark Richt was a respectable 5-3 against Fulmer and lost the only game in Kiffin's lone year here. Georgia's dominance started when the 3 stooges came to town and Tennessee has battling uphill ever since. I will say this is the program with a win could legitimize Heupel as a big time coach. Georgia has been the one program Heupel hasn't had an answer for. I'm not a fan of spending someone else's money, so I would rather Tennessee fans refrain if we pulled the upset. But if it does go down, I would understand why. Just hate that the $500K would go straight to UGA

Agreed, if our fans act like they won the natty for beating a good team in the regular season, then imagine how the players are gonna feel. Too much highs will create too many lows.

I’m a relatively young guy. All for having a good time, but it gets sad if we rush the field every time we win a big game. Special occasions are what make it special and fun. Can’t be acting like junkies for some dopamine

Never ever ever ever ever ever rush the field against Georgia. They are on a temporary high right now and it took the worst decade in the history of our program running congruent with the best decade in the history of their program for them to finally take the all-time series.

They belong under us, just like they are on a map, and they will return there soon enough.

It's not so much about the 500K fine for UT it's the fact it go's to UGA! We will be paying (funneling) for all their player traffic tickets and/or a another new 5* NIL recruit. I'm sure UGA wants to win but if lighting strikes they would love for us to storm the field!! Do we really want to pet a injured dawg???
