Yes, It Was a Coup Attempt. Here’s Why.

If you think their job is to allow the wild west when it comes to elections where anything goes you're insane. That's what is perverting the democratic process.

Bull hock. You are the one advocating wild West elections, totally corrupted by party politics. I am advocating for open and fair elections governed by due process of law. You are not the good guy on this issue. You are supporting corrupt elections by crooked politicians who want to overturn valid elections decided by citizens who are lawfully registered to vote.

LOL< Keep living in that dream world. I know exactly what communism is. It's socialism at the end of the barrel of a gun. There's more and more of you sheep everyday. One day you'll wake up and it will be too late. Our freedoms are eroding daily. They do it in such small increments you don't even notice. My son and I the other day were talking, and he continuously said, I can't believe you all used to be able to do that. I just chuckled. He's 21.

Nope. Communism and socialism are different. But keep on showing your lack of knowledge.

Out of curiosity, provide some examples regarding what we used to be able to do that we are no longer allowed to do...

I do understand the concept. Several southern states legally (there is nothing in the constitution preventing it and no court ruling at the time declaring it illegal) seceded from the union. So either Lincoln ordered an invasion of a sovereign country in a war of conquest or Lincoln killed hundreds of thousands of Americans, which is it?

Now your starting to get the idea.

The only real logical answer is a war of conquest that the south lost. Hell, if the South had won then we may still be two different countries or the U.S. would look more like a Confederacy. Fortunately, Lincoln did not treat the new American citizens as poorly as say the Indians. However, the southern cause was lost, in 1865.

The civil war should be a reminder that armed rebellion is 0-1 against the constitution and the federal government has sovereignty over the states. There are more effective ways to change the Government.

According to the constitution. State legislatures have supreme power over their elections.

Unfortunately, due to a republican push of Shelby v. Holder the states gained too much power. Trumps and Q's claims would have far less to go on if pre-clearance still existed.

What Abraham Lincoln Thought About Slavery

Lincoln made his position clear. “I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and Black races,” he began, going on to say that he opposed Black people having the right to vote, to serve on juries, to hold office and to intermarry with whites.

This reply makes zero sense in debating on whether or not state legislatures of complete power to run their elections.

The audits will determine this.

More bull hock. You are talking about audits that are a corrupt sham, held by a partisan corporation paid for the purpose of overturning vote counts which were already recounted and hand counted and hand counted again, by lawfully authorized election officials who did their jobs in accordance with the laws passed by the legislature to govern elections. You want to overturn an election you lost.

Ahh, I can tell you were taught that the civil war, from the Southern perspective, was about states rights and not slavery.

Yeah, probably originally but have looked at from many different perspectives. With the lineage to join the sons of confederacy, I wanted as much information as possible. The war of northern aggression is more tongue and cheek than serious. Its not a comforting thought but it was about the states having the right to enslave people.

In your first paragraph you call it a war of conquest by Lincoln against a sovereign nation then in your second you call it an armed rebellion against the constitution. So what was it? An Armed rebellion that Lincoln killed hundreds of thousands of Americans putting down or a war of conquest against a sovereign nation?

You mean unconstitutional controls on the states were lifted.

You going to us the old “I know you are but what am I” retort next?
lol.....Not needed.
Your position is that any weapon the military has should be available on the free market to anyone who can afford it.

I think your position is total lunacy.

My position is that the military has many weapons that are best kept out of the hands of the general public, even if they can afford them.

I’m relieved that only one person is defending Trump for pushing Pence to go with Eastman’s plan.

Once the takeover of the Republican party through the precinct committeemen plan is complete, you're going to hate life. We'll actually have an opposition to the one party rule.

It was stolen. You and I both know it.
They played their base like the fools they knew they were............

"If Republicans could cast enough of a shadow on Biden's victory on January 6, Bannon said, it would be hard for Biden to govern. Millions of Americans would consider him illegitimate. They would ignore him. They would dismiss him and wait for Trump to run again.
"'We are going to kill it in the crib. Kill the Biden presidency in the crib,' he said."

"It was a planned revolution," Woodward and Costa write. "Steve Bannon's vision coming to life. Bring it all down, blow it up, burn it, and emerge with power."

LMFAO pretty much everyone here expected Pence to do exactly what he did and he did it pretty damn composed I might add however don’t let that get in the way of your stupid ass stump speech 😂
