I think Bray is a great talent and hope he carries us back to the promised land. However, I'd rather not recruit west coast QB's. The ones we've had have been adequate (Casey Clausen and Eric Ainge) but it seems they have a hard time adjusting to the weather or something (too soft?). Kif was dead set on bringing in a Cali QB and I'm pleased with Bray. I hope he proves to be the exception and surpasses our wildest dreams. He has talent to do so, now just prove to have the mindset to get it done.

I live in Orange County - this time of year is rainy and cold. Then you have the May Haze, the June Gloom, and finally the weather is really nice. I think Tyler's spirits will perk up when spingtime hits. Besides, wasn't he from NorCal where they have cooler weather and seasons more like TN?

Tyler is an EE. He should still be in high school getting ready for prom. Give the kid a break. He gave up some of the best months of his high school life to come early to TN - and it has been a rocky few months for him (losing the coaching staff that recruited him, adjusting to college life, etc.) He is just an 18 year old kid who is taking college courses, trying to manage his time, and learn a college playbook. He is probably very jealous of his high school friends in Cali who are skating through the last few months of high school. I think people are reading way too much into a comment by a kid who is probably a bit overwhelmed! Let's see.....go to college classes and prepare for a tough spring football season or go to prom and grad parties? Not too hard to see why he is longing for the life he'd have if he was in Cali

It'd be in the best interest of Tyler (and the UT program) to delete his Facebook, so that people can make him a target or take things out of context. I think the SID department at UT should make it a rule that all UT athletes either must delete their Facebook or can only add other fellow student-athletes ... just to protect them from people posting stupid stuff.
