Great job quitting! With threads like these it's a miracle we all don't smoke crack. Bitching about 3 quarters of shutout football. Amazing.

Last minute win? Good. Fought to the very end. D stood up big after a turnover very easily could have cost us the game. Guarantano seals it with a good run.

13 unanswered points, then we adjusted and held them to nothing in 3 quarters. We make those types of adjustments going forward and we can win a lot of games. And a chunk of their points came after a blocked punt. And their first td took most of the quarter. So it's not like we had a ton of chances. Everyone's golden boy Mauerer couldnt get t done so coaches made a change that won us the game.

Already addressed the D with the adjustments. You had Bituli all over, Warrior with some big stops, like blowing up a blocker and making the tackle in the fourth. To oto o making a play on the goal line.

Penalties are part of what we over came. Didnt play pretty but we won, that's impressive. After our 0-2 start I would have said we would need to play absolutely perfect to beat the teams we did. And we haven't but we have won. That's al that matters.

12 men on the field happened in a couple other games. I know it happened once in the Bama LSU game. UCF lost Friday because of that call. Dumb, yes. But not dumb enough to lose the game for us.

We were good enough to overcome our mistakes against a favored team at their place. Yeah its Kentucky and the line shifted. But our early September team isnt winning this game. They had the bye week, they are playing for the same stakes we are, we are ending a six game stretch.

Perfect no. A win yes. And a continuing promising sign of the direction for our program.

I quit cold turkey 2 years ago and ain’t looked back. It’s tough but you should about be over the hump.

This team being able to overcome an ugly start and make a goal line stand to win is amazing to me in and of itself. This team is starting to understand how to win. After the first two losses, and maybe it's because of the last two failures here, it felt like they were going to fold and give up at that point. They didn't and a large part of that is because of CP.

Our players were fine. Our defensive scheme was the problem in the first half. I was loosing my mind watching us not stop obvious runs. But we made up for it in the second half

Kentucky has a great game plan. They had to slow the game way down, keep the ball and make it a real ugly game. They did, it came close to working, but it didn’t.

Tennessee came up when they needed to on offense and on D.

Great job Tennessee.

It was ugly. But I almost think this helps the team more than if we just went out and blew UK out. The Mizzou game will most likely be a close one too, now at least our guys have gutted one out on the road.

Playing that Offense is a lot like playing GA Tech's Offense. You know what they're going to do but its so loopy gimmicky that its hard to actually counter at times. It completely different than any other Offensive style you'll come across all year and they had a bye week to implement wrinkles we hadn't seen.

Sure there's some stuff that was unexcusable (12 men on the field) but I didn't expect a clean win going into their house with their style offense.

A win is a win for this team, we don't get to worry about style points. Yeah there were things to be concerned about on both sides of the ball and with dumb, game changing penalties.. But better to be concerned about them in a win than a loss.

These stats remind me a little bit of the Georgia Tech game we won, at the start of Butch's last season in 2017, except that game was a shootout that went into OT. It is crazy that Kentucky only scored 13 points, considering how many plays they ran from scrimmage with over 300 yards rushing, and only 1 turnover.

Looks like a blowout in the standings. We’ve had tons of ugly losses over the past 10-12 years. It’s turning around.

For as hard as that game was to watch...and (IMHO) most of it was disgusting...I'm with the above comment all the way.
I'll happily take an UGLY win like this one over one of those "moral victory losses" where we played close to a top five team, but still LOST.
