Wins... Who has more?

Mighty Saban led Alabubba to an impressive 6-6 regular season record his first year at the helm... Including losses to MSST and ULM.

IMO, no way Kiffin/UT do worse....

Thoughts?

I think we go 7-5 with a bad qb.
And 9-3 or possibly 10-2 if we find a quality one. Say what you want about lack of depth at DL or whatever but qb is by far the biggest concern for 2009 and will make or break our season.

Kiffin is likely to do better, but the media/SEC fans will treat it like he did worse no matter what simply because of the comments he's already made. I'm not upset with Kiffin, I like the fire, but I think that's what we should expect from the first year.

I'm excited about the '09 class and super excited to see what we come away with in '10. I think we can also pull some solid wins this year against Auburn, UGA, UCLA... maybe not all three but two of the three at least.

Guys we weren't that far away from 8 wins this past year. WE had UCLA on the ropes until we went into the prevent, Wyoming and the shamecocks caught us at a time when the emotions were down. I am glad we didn't win 8 as we would still have our old coach but just pointing out we weren't that far away. With the new staff we should get back to 8 especially if they can make Coleman an average SEC qb .

Kiffin will DEF do better! The only games i see us losing are Bama/Florida, the IFS are Georgia/Ole Miss.

In Bamma they learn that 25 comes after 16. It’s their jerkwater counting system. You would think they could use their fingers and toes to count up to 20 correctly.

Are they sure how many of each they have. That may be were they are getting confused.

IMO, this is the WORST we do.

WKU- W
UCLA- W
FL-L
Ohio-W
AU- ?
GA- ?
AL- L
South Carolina-?
Memphis- W
Ole Miss- ?
Vandy- W
KY- W

Even if you count all the ? as an L, we still match Saban..... BTW, IMO, I think we win at least 2 of the 4 in ?...

Why is every prediction in here a loss to bammer. They will be in the situation next year that we were this year, no exp at qb, o line will not b as goood. Plus they lost def qb.

Each year is obviously different. But I have some confidence that if Kiffin and Co. were at the helm last year then we beat UCLA, Auburn, and Wyoming - at the very least. That puts us at 8-4.

Good to see Tennessee fans excited about the number 25 rec. class!

Good to see a toothless, mullet headed, bammer posting on a real forum. Good to see a Utah team with no stars, beat you bammers like a drum !! Go air up the tires on your trailer !

It's another Bammer lookin' for love...in the wrong place. Now that you've made your clever point, just g'wan back to the sty. It's funny to see tidy-bowls & gay-tors coming on Vol boards lately. Seems to me CLK got your hemmorhoids in a wad. Nyuk-nyuk.

The Kiffin comments will be long forgotten by football season......just as Saban's "coon-ass" comments.
