The league has got to go back to hiring marble mouthed 'necks like Fulmer and Mike Dubose if the SEC is ever going to achieve prominence again. These interlopers are killing the conference.

You noticed this too?

Saban is a great coach, but it has to make you sick to see them win a NC.

Not when the alternative was seeing an inbred 'tard like Muck Brown become a multiple national title winner.

FWIW, Coach Mack Brown is from Cookeville, TN.

I do know people who argued this very topic. I laughed and asked them how any one of Fulmer, Dubose, Shula, and even Spurrier are doing right now.

I bet you really enjoy knowing that MB is the highest paid coach in NCAA football.

$5.1 million correct?

Doesn't bother me at all to see Texsucks paying their Fulmer clone three times what he's worth.

Biggest difference is that Mack actually has assistant coaches that are worth a damn. Mack, like every other great coach, knows that you have to have great assistants around you to win. Fulmer took too long to figure that out, thus his unemployment check.

True, but your boy has only won 2 BCS bowls and lost the last 5 he's been in. Mack's won 3 of the 4 he's been in. They both have won 1 NCG too. What's your point??
The only impressive BCS win he has had was over USC with VY having the game of the century. He parlayed VY's accomplishments into some more great recruiting classes. I'll give him credit for that. Other than that, he really isn't special.

It takes great players to win the NCG, I still fail to see why hating on Mack Brown is even warranted. Is it because he's old or something?? Hell, 9 straight years of 10+ wins a year is pretty impressive, IMO.

I guess Colt getting his arm injured helped Mack keep his job since he can blame the loss on that.

That the inbred hick has the best recruiting setup in college football and still can't win his league.
