6' 280 DE

Supposedly VT sent a couple coaches to watch him and Swafford at the Sevier Co game. Do we have any interest? Seems like good size for 3-4 DE.

Don't keep up with my old school like I should.. I don't think thay have any D1 level talent.. They have one kid named Malik Foreman who plays CB/WR... He is fast (4.5/40, 10.5/100) and listed at 5'11" 170 lbs but not sure I believe that. Also there is another Sensabaugh, Nick I believe.. A large one, plays DL and is listed 6'1" 300 lbs... I had a friend whose opinion I respect tell me he thought Nick would be good enough to play bigtime college ball.. This was last year.. Nick is a jr. this year so we will see...

Hope to see them do well at the next level.. The more in state talent the better, especially up in this area which always seems to be lacking..

Yes, Aarmon Gilliam played basketball for UNLV when they played Duke for the National Championship. I think he played in the NBA also.

Foreman has interest from Kentucky.

Swafford has interest from Wake Forest.

Trevor Gilliam is a Beast!!! he would fit in very well with UT!! hes got the size and speed and he's strong. you can tell that by just watching him!! and Swafford and Foreman are both extremely fast and could play any outside position.. they are kinda short but they make up with for that with speed!! Speed kills!! GO DB! Roll Tribe!!
and by the way, DB has 3 former players in the NFL right now! one with the Cowboys, one with the Titans and one with the 49ers!!!

I went to Middle school with Gilliam. Tough player at times, knows how to play hard, but the year after I left, he got the HC in trouble because he did something or didn't do something, so the HC kinda pushed him back by his shoulder pads. Gilliam had a hissy fit and nearly had the HC fired over it.

yes Gerald Sensabaugh plays for the Cowboys, Coty Sensabaugh plays for the Titans and Daniel Kilgore plays for the 49ers. Dobyns-Bennett has alot of talent this year with Gilliam, Malik Foreman and Devaun Swafford. the QB Chris Cook was a great player too before he got hurt against Sevier County

I remember him.. He and my daughter were friends in high school.. I had no idea he had made it to the league..

edit: Sent my daughter a text and asked if she remembered him.. She said they were really good friends and that he always was asking her out.. Said she saw him a few years ago at Lakeside Marina and he was still trying to get her to go out..

I asked her if she has ever heard of the National Football League................... haaaaa..

Graduated from DB in '80.. I have never seen them score points like they are doing this year (60 pts/game).. Maybe Clark can go deep in the playoffs this year..

Sure wish we could keep a bit more in-state talent! Tennessee needs to keep East Tennessee football talent at the University of Tennessee.

Was that at CHMS or SSHS? I think I vaguely recall hearing about it.
