I think the meaning was VY was accurate in college. I don't know enough about VY's college career to comment on his accuracy at TX, but it is terrible with the Titans.

This is the real beauty of the option game. If you have a quarterback who runs it well, the margin of error for his passes increases dramatically. A quarterback that runs a "pro style" offense has a small window to squeeze a ball into because he'll be facing defenses that are designed to stop the pass and also the run. With an option team, the defense must gear up to stop the run primarily. What this does is create a bunch of one-on-one matchups in the passing game; one good move by the receiver and he's wide open.

McNown was the 12th overall pick by the Bears and two of those picks you listed were by the Bengals. That said, I've been saying for years that picking a quarterback high just because he's a quarterback is as dumb as not picking an interior lineman just because he's an interior lineman.

Need I remind you that they called us quitters earlier this year? Granted ,I will hope they will win the NC game ,but only for the sake of the SEC. I know the Volnation hates Bama but come on,atleast they have played with class this year,and with few off field incidents. You dont see their backup qb stealing laptops. Nice...but Bartkowski, Plunkett, and Bradshaw were in a different era.....Deep passes, hand checking was allowed for DB's, and the 5 yrd 'chuck" rule was not in effect. It was much harder for those guys to have 60+% completitions. They would have torn up todays game. I would love to see Young, Manning, and Brady play back then. No way they have the same stats.
