which team is going to have pieces in place to utilize the skills that Tebow brings? The only thing that will prevent Tebow from becoming an All-Pro in the NFL is if he gets stuck with an offensive coordinator who looks at him and thinks "dropback passer".
In fact, that's the only reason why Vince Young and Michael Vick didn't have a great deal of success.
Its funny that you called the FL player out for kicking the Bama player yet I am sure you didn't make a thread to call out our player for working over Moreno with gut punches.
As far as Tebow being a good pro QB who knows. After watching the game Saturday he sure looked ready. His motion looks terrible but I guess it doesn't matter when your completing passes. He does have a good WR group , but what do you think he will have in the NFL?

Let me rephrase. Tebow could be an All-Pro quarterback.
I've never understood why some (or many) teams see a quarterback that has another skill set and they trip over themselves to go that way. They say that option quarterbacks can't succeed to the point where they would get switched (Eric Crouch, Scott Frost, etc) or not get the chance (Jamelle Holieway), but yet Donovan McNabb was never considered for a switch to another position. Neither was Vince Young, and he's far from even an average passer.
VY and McNabb where good passers in college. McNabb still is. VY still has a chance. Tebow is not accurate even in college. Even vince with his side arm motion threw spirals. . Most of Tebows throw are wobbly and he overthrows recievers alot. Tebow does not make NFL throws. He gets bailed out by his team on alot of pass plays.
I know Jamelle Holieway. Consider him a friend. He had as much business being given a shot to play QB in the NFL as I did.Let me rephrase. Tebow could be an All-Pro quarterback.

it will be because there are two guys on every team who are better pro style QBs than he is. Otherwise, he'll play. Why can't Tebow play QB in the NFL? He's got size, a big enough arm and he's smart enough to figure things out. His release is slow, but I think people automatically calling him a Tight End are selling him short.
Come on. When the NFL has future Hall of Famers like Thigpen, Fitzpatrick, Hill, and Orton starting games, you know Tebow has no shot. Why can't Tebow play QB in the NFL? I think so, but it's still going to come down to depth charts and who runs a pro set offense the most efficiently. If it's him, he'll play. I can think of a couple rosters where they'd love to have him as an option, but there aren't many.Don't you think though that some NFL team somewhere is going to see that arm and 6'3" 240 lbs and think they can do something with him?
No, he wasn't. Alex Smith parlayed one decent season playing against high school quality defenses into being drafted #1 by one of the five worst organizations in football. Tebow has consistently lit up the best defenses in the country for two years. There is no comparison.Alex Smith was a WAY better passer in the same system. We all saw how that worked out.
I seriously doubt it. It's not like NFL teams have a tough time selling tickets. Those teams draft guys from UF, FSU, and the "U" for a simple reason. They're good.Hat, let me ask you, do you think that the NFL teams in Florida (Dolphins, Jags, and Bucs) might draft him in part because they figure it will spark some interest in their fan bases? I've always noticed that the Jags in particular seem to have a penchant for taking UF players (and maybe the Bucs to take some FSU players) and have wondered if there wasn't a little salesmanship in that.
