I hope this doesn't happen.
For Fulmers legacy sake and just because we will become the laughing stock of college football... dang, nevermind.

Warning: The article takes some very low blows at Fulmer.

10 takeaways: How bad can it get at Tennessee?

My apologies if the link doesn't work. You can go to Yahoo sports and read it.

Dam, This SOB who wrote this is a lair!!! Pure fiction and you ought to be ashamed for even responding to it!

Excuse me. Its a message board. It's a national writer. Why in the ... are you taking a shot at me for posting what is being discussed nationally.
Dont respond to the post if you don't like it. I simply read it this morning. You should be ashamed of how you responded.

People freakout over negative stuff because they can't handle criticism. Can you imagine if that article was about that poster? Lol

You don't remember our hostess thing with Kiffin? There were a lot of "sources" and "evidence" that he never produced.

He also was part of the totally falsified raid against Oklahoma State that SI published. He was a stain h defender of that garbage journalism.

The man is a sleazeball.

there are many articles on the hostess situation, so I do not know of his specific article, no. I also do not know of his article about OKState. That was why I asked.

He's the one that started "hostessgate" from the picture alone.

The OK State stuff was started in Sports Illustrated by Thayer Evans. Pete Thamel was a staunch defender of the "journalism" on display in that farce, and if I remember right may have been a contributor in some of the stories.

This is a good read for sure. My only thought, be mindful, I was one of a handful that didn't believe for one minute Pruitt would be fired this year or next, now I'm not so sure. With that said, I don't think Fulmer wants to be head coach again. If he were, surely it would be for a limited time until someone is found. For instance, a mid season firing, maybe he would take over until the end of the season? I would be more inclined to think someone on the coaching staff would take over for the time being. Who knows, we always have a way of messing things up. But I am to the point that, assuming deep pockets would help, we probably need to cut ties with Pruitt. I hate it to the core, but the regression this team has encountered, well, it's seems too extreme for there not to be a problem.

Also, the optics wouldn't look good if "Fulmer" were to fire coach and take over. Anyone outside looking in would wonder if Fulmer is too involved. Who knows what happens.

J Pru and Coach Fulmer are a team. They work together not against each other. I can guarantee you starting Monday this team is going to tighten the chinstraps, pull themselves up by the bootstraps and try like heck. This is only 1 SEC loss. We can still fight like heck and pull off a great season.

To anyone that doesn't know about this author he is not a real sports journalist.

He is an ambulance chaser who got his start digging through sh!t for the New York Times covering sports scandals like Penn St pedophile U scandal, NCAA infractions, Reggie Bush's agent connection, etc....
Think deadspin slightly more credible.

He wanted to be part of WOKE SJW OUTRAGE MEDIA but he was too much of a joke as a journalist so he started digging through trash for sports scandals.

He had a brief run at sports illustrated but these days he's been reduced to peddling outrages smear pieces for yahoo to try and stay relevant.
