XBOX, PS2, Wait For Newer System?

Should I buy another PS2, XBOX, or wait until the next newest gaming system is released?

Does anyone still have a PS2 and/or Xbox? Or a GameCube or Dreamcast from that generation?

I got rid of both my PS2 and Xbox around 2008; gave them to a family that had some kids that loved video games but still only had an N64. I had already gotten a 360 and a PS3.

Gave my PS2 to my sister when I got a 360, I sure got my money's worth out of it, had it since the week it launched. Went through 3 360's.

Same here. Towards the end my PS2 was having a few issues reading the discs but eventually would work. I had to send in 2 360s to get replaced because of the RROD, but the last one (2008) has lasted ever since. I still have my original PS3 from 2007 and it's the backwards compatible version so that is why I got rid of my PS2 in the first place.

I had to replace my GameCube after about 4 years, but by then they were selling them for $50 used at GameStop and you even got 2 free games with it that you could choose yourself. I eventually gave that to the same family I did the Xbox and PS2.

I sold my first Dreamcast in about 2002. Then in 2004 I got a used one for cheap and several games. I sold that one in 2007 and by then I had to put a game on the lid to let it play games.
