Now you guys are making me think I should have saved some cash and went with the XBox One. It's too late now, the little spoiled rotten brat will just have to learn to LOVE the PS4. :crazy:

I want to thank everyone for your input again. I was really lost on this gift. The last video game I actually sit down and played was a Magnavox Oddessy. I would think most of you have never seen one of those bad boys. :)

Good Choice on the system....I would ask him if he's playing Minecraft, and get him that game.....

My son is 9, and his two go to games are Plants V Zombies and Minecraft..


That may change after a week at my sisters; her Son's are older and playing Titan Fall and COD.....

I'm ready to open mine up.. Working 24 today.. Last night I went to Target after the crowds somewhat died down and got my Xbone for 329 and a 50 dollar gift card I used for GTA..

Nerd or anyone how long does it take to install everything?

If you have the disc install it when you are not connected to the internet. It is a lot faster. Hit me up: kwebbvols4423

I started with a PS4, went to X1, then back to the PS4. But now I'm thinking about the X1 because all of my friends are on X1. I like the PS4's design better and the graphics. But my PS4 will not connect to the PSN network so it has me very frustrated with the system. My 1st PS4 never had that problem at all. I hated the kinnect for the X1, but now you don't have to buy it looks a lot more appealing. I'm thinking about just saving for an X1 and have both because my ol lady is about to kill me since I keep switching back and forth between the two. Both have great exclusives so I think it will pay off if I do that.

Just got the PS4 today came with GTA5 and The Last of Us. Might go trade in GTA5 at GameStop tomorrow never been much of a GTA fan.

Have any idea why your ps4 wont connect? If you can get both I would. They really compliment one another well.

Probably will get both after Christmas is over at the first of the year. I'm saving up for a 4K TV too, so I might put aside some extra money for the X1...I'm not sure why it won't connect? It says it connects to the Internet fine but it won't connect to the psn network. I haven't had too much time to mess with it though. I'll have to get the error code and post it.

Congrats. It's a great system. I think you'll love it.

I've never been a GTA fan either, but I have a couple of people trying to talk me into it so I'm actually thinking about picking it up.

I'm loving it so far. I wanted UFC but after reading the reviews idk about it. I think a may go ahead and give GTA a try. Pretty excited to start The Last of Us and see if it lives up to what I've heard.
