I wondered what the issue was. That could be it.

I actually upgraded my modem this week. I'm hoping that solves my problems.

i'm not a basher of the ps3 and don't ever plan to be one........but even still, the psn problem was a pretty silly goof up programming-wise.

For those that never got past 2005....

Today at midnight Pacific time, Xbox Live 1.0 (original Xbox) was taken down for good. I was able to get on last night for a few final Halo 2 games, which I hadn't done in about 4 years.

Strangely about 2 hours ago I was able to still connect, but a few minutes ago I tried again and apparently it's finally down for good.

That was the other title I wanted to fire up again, but sadly I traded the game in back right before GameStop stopped taking Xbox games.

The thing that sucks the most is (for now) there's no way to get DLC for original Xbox games anymore. So say you picked up one of the original Splinter Cell games, or Halo 2, you can't download the free levels and maps anymore.

My roommates and I played this game religiously online
I beat the #12 player in the nation on that game at the time, It was so epic to us we through a Keg party that night.. (They convinced me to buy a keg)

NCAA 2005 was the last game in the series I bought (football). I created myself as a freshman QB and I won 4 Heisman Trophies and led UT to 4 straight National titles, and I never lost a game.
