I have a Belkin router and my xbox keeps disconnecting. Should I add my xbox to dmz setting on my router, would that fix the problem?

Hardwire your xbox to the modem, just so you can isolate the problem to the router and not the xbox.

I hooked it up using a Ethernet cable and it worked. In going to try the dmz thing tomorrow, does anyone else do that?

Don't know anything about dmz, but my guess is that you are having a port/firewall issue between your router and your xbox. If you are savvy, you can log in to your router and change the settings. You can find some guidance at xbox.com as to what ports need to be open, etc.

Yeah dmz is when the router allows one thing to be connected, but it is open, not protected. But it's supposed to help connection?

I dmz'd my 360. I'm not sure how much it helps, but it seems like I pull host more often in Call of Duty and I rarely get disconnected unless my modem goes out. I just Google'd it and Youtube'd directions, it wasn't too frustrating.

If you're talking about getting disconnected on NCAA 12 then thats probably EA's servers acting up not your internet connection.
