Xbox Live Price Hike

They've had wifi, it was just before you had to have an adapter. PSN is so cutting edge they just got...wait, what have they added?

i'm not taking sides here, but they made people pay another $77 to $100 for the adapter.....which was nuts especially when a $150 less system already had it from the get go

but then again, the system companies all just see us as walking dollar bills or coin purses, which always surprises me why people are so adament about quickly rushing to their defense like Nintendo/Microsoft/Sony needs their help and even notices their perceived loyalty

("sorry, what did you say...I can't hear you sitting on top of this large pile of money")

"Gaming companies: we just want your money"

Don't forget both the "you can't buy used games and play online" from EA and the "Call of Duty games need to be subscription-based" from Activision and trends.....gaming's going to get real messy and expensive over the next few years i feel

People keep forgetting about ESPN3 coming to Xbox Live. That is pretty huge.

i still don't completely understand why that's such a big deal / good thing....especially since people are now paying for something that was already free

to me, that's like being in awe that my phone can play youtube videos by charging me double/triple for the airtime used...

(and you can't get NFL games, even if ESPN shows them)

To me,using WiFi is such a downgrade in speed and lag I have always found a way to have mine plugged up to my router. As for the price hike it's a no brainer this was going to happen. These out of market gameday packages have to make up the money some way or another. I already know of a friend who owns a local bar who is planning on hooking up an xbox to his flatscreens for the sole purpose of saving money on buying these packages for college sports.

I watched a game on ESPN 360 last year on the ps3 and the picture quality was lacking.I dunno I'm not trying to get Tupac vs Biggie up here I just am looking forward to out of market games in HD on my TV.

It's probably bigger for me than most. I probably watch two soccer games a week since the majority of times they aren't aired on TV.
