Anybody here like to buy 360s, fix them up, and turn a profit on them? I'm trying to get rid of my Arcade version that just got the RROD so I can make up some of the difference for the new one...
I'm thinking $40 for the system and cords.

Not interested in buying it but you do know that you can send it in to Microsoft and they will fix it free of charge right?
I'm sure you are just wanting the new one but maybe you could get more out of it.

I'm 7 months too late. The automatic 1 year to 3 year warranty ended at Christmas last year...Sucks, really

There is a guy in Cedar Bluff actually that fixes them for like 30 or 40 bucks with like a 3 month warranty.

Where at? And would his fix be able to pass the Gamestop inspection for a trade-in?

Was this the first time it's RROD? Because if it has RROD'd before the 3 years starts over when you get it back (unless you mean it RROD'd 3 years ago).

You might try sending it in anyway. I have a friend who's 360 was past the date and they fixed it anyway. They have so many I'm not sure they actually keep up with it anymore. Kind of like if you just go on their site and say it RROD'd then they are just like "Send it in"; unless of course you already tried this.
