OK, so here's the newest problem.

When I got my XBOX, i just signed up for the 3 month subscription of XBL. The card that I used got stuck in an atm machine a while back. Now the 3 months is up and I just got a message saying my account has been suspended because of payment options. I'm sure it's because I had to get a new card and the numbers changed.

However, I can't seem to get into my account management to change the card over to my new one. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm kind of lost here.

I recommend not using a credit card... once Microsoft has their hands on your number, it is near impossible to get them to forget it. I've had to go through the wonderful mess of removing a CC from two accounts. It sucks. Buy prepaid.

Successfully mod'ed my 360 DVD firmware last night. Fun little project. Takes about 20 minutes total to mod one once you include taking apart the 360 and putting it back together.

Play game copies. The machine can no longer distiguish a backup from an original.

Grabbed a user made Guitar Hero 2 mod last night with roughly 60 songs they had created. Looking forward to trying it. The comments said it's a pretty good package with good charts.

Also has anyone here upgraded to the larger hard drive? I'm a little nervous about losing data on the switch over...

Yes, but there's obviously a small risk MS comes up with some new detection process in the future. The hackers seem to think everything they have looked for up until now has been fixed in the latest firmwares.

I had no problems playing NBA Live online last night after creating a new Silver account and getting the month of GOLD free.

Are you speaking of a transfer from 20 gb to 120? The kit works flawlessly... haven't heard of a possibility to use a larger/non-xbox360 drive.

Internal...free kit from MS makes it very easy. Although, any Arcade games you have already downloaded will be limited to trial version only unless connected to LIVE.

Can't use external drives for main storage yet.

I'm a bit pissed off right now. I just promoted my Live from a child account to an adult one. Now for some reason I can't find, I was charged $20.00 when I put in a new credit card.
I was never told I would be charged at the time, & my account wasn't expired. What gives?

There is no reason that I should have been charged & I can't find anything about it online. Anyone have an idea?
