That's funny Dr. Plasmas are at the bottom of mine.

I guess that's why all these technologies are still alive... personal preferences vary.

I think if you saw a calibrated Pioneer Kuro you'd see why many, many consider it the best thing going right now, period.

But yeah, personal preferrence is a big part of all the technologies still surviving. I think it's great and gives the consumer lots of options and competition to drive innovation and prices.

Is the upgrade to HDMI worth it? My 360 does not have it built in but I saw an adapter that plugs into the back of the xbox that makes it HDMI enabled. I just dont know if I want to spend $89 on it. I play on a 32'' HDTV 1080p.

That is a waste of money. It converts a component signal to HDMI. No improvement at all over what you're getting now. Just lets you plug it into a different spot.

HDMI is all digital, so it's the purest form of the signal. Odds are you wouldn't be able to tell an HDMI signal from a component signal. Your component cables are short enough that signal loss is so minute there very little loss in the signal.

Unless you need to plug into an HDMI port for lack of other inputs on your tv, there's no reason to buy a new xbox.
