I don't know anything either. It looked like he jammed his neck pretty good. I noticed when they were carting him off the field that he had movement in his arms though which was a good sign.

I read on another board that he flew home with the team. Was knocked unconscious, but no paralysis or permanent injury. Good to hear.

Thank God he is alright. That was a scary looking injury. Hope he's back soon too, as it's his senior season.

Probably dealing with a concussion. He would not get on a plane with any serious neuro problems.

Great news. UT has had a horrible w/ big injuries early on in the season lately.

Reports from Volquest say he is going to be XRayed and whatnot and that it is a concussion and hopefully nothing more.

Souns like he'll recover. Great news. I hate to see that kind of stuff in games. Except for Auburn. I hate Auburn.

This is almost what PF said on his show. This is great news. I'm very happy to hear he's going to be ok and not seriously injured:clapping:

Glad to hear he'll be OK... definitely a scary moment that would've topped the night off if it was anything worse.

I was offended, as apparently Arian Foster was too according to his comment after the game, that while Mitchell was on the ground Cal fans where cheering Pac-10 football and the Cal band was playing.

I know. I was there and they were chanting the whole time he was down.
