I guess now we know why Batista is back. He needs the money to buy shirts that fit. That sweater thing isn't even a smedium.

Seriously though, a lot of times the announcers will tell how a returning wrestler looks better than ever, but Batista looks HUGE.

He needs some bigger jeans too, they were a little tight in the legs. His neck and shoulders were huge.

I hope they're not going to shove him down our throats. It was kinda okay when it was the Rock, because he is the Rock. But Batista is not the Rock. Leave the main event at Mania for guys like Daniel Bryan.

The stuff Big Show could do if this was real would be flat out scary.

It was hilarious to watch Lesnar trip over the monitor.

interesting ending to put it lightly. Glad it was something somewhat unique. I expected the Shield to be at the top of the arena. But instead Orton just ran like a chicken.

So it looks like Sting is done with TNA, he lost his "contract match" that will air Thursday and he's been in negotiations with WWE/WM30 for a while. Sting is my all time favorite, i hope they do something good with him.

I won't hold my breath.

I still think Vince views Sting as beneath him (never a WWE creation, not Vince's huge guy mold, etc). Not that he wouldn't bring him in, but I don't think he brings him in to a top spot (especially at WM).

I could see them bringing him in and setting up a longer angle (weeks of vignettes, etc) where he'd finally show up for a midcard spot that disappoints most long time fans...

He's a cowboys and titans fan.

His overall coolness is still in doubt.

Were Tennessee fans. If were judging coolness by success on the field...what does that make you?

Wrestling used to be good. I was damn near obsessed. I grew up right in the middle of the Wcw/wwf tv wars. It was awesome back then...now its just...meh.

Then in the Rumble, Show will eliminate Lesnar, and out of spite, Lesnar will pull Show out of the ring. Perhaps they're out on the apron, both having gone over the rope, and Show makes Lesnar fall, then Lesnar, post-elimination, rips Show down and they go at it outside the ring.

It's as good as it ever was IMO. If you go back and look at the production values especially of wcw back in the day, there's no comparison.

Yep.

Angles are much more compressed time-wise and they've came back around to appealing to a wider (read: younger) audience, but its not really any better or worse. Their roster has a ton of really good guys on it right now.

The next big leap IMO will be when they're a little more open to guys that don't quite fit the WWE/Vince mold (6'4"+ and/or roid freaks). They can improve in that area, but its certainly better than it was.

Even now, Show and Lesnar are just sideshows. Look at the main eventers. You have Orton, Cena, Punk and Bryan (despite all the keeping him down hype, Bryan is still biggest draw right now and Vince and HHH know it). Not one of them fit the traditional Vince giant/roid freak. The Usos are getting major play and no one from the Wyatts fit that mold either. Yeah, they just brought back Batista, but Vince isn't as adamant about making a giant roid freak be the main event. I mean I'm quite interested in how the Big Show-Lesnar feud pans out, but just as a side show like it is.

Ramble complete.

I can understand your point.

I just have zero trust that they'll stay with what they're doing and instead launch Wade Barrett, Big E, etc.

I hope we're pleasantly surprised.
