Honestly I don't see the belts remaining together past the Rumble. Split them and you get 3 automatic "main events" (including the Taker match).
I see Orton/Bryan with HHH as the ref, Cena/Batista, and Taker/Lesnar (in what I assume is Taker's last match ever)
I read that they don't think Lesnar/Taker will happen, 2 reasons. 1, Taker is too "brittle" for Lesnar's style of match, 2, Taker and his past WM opponents have put in a lot of time rehearsing their match, they don't think Lesnar will put in that much time for it.

Aside from the doubts that Undertaker could even handle Brock, I have serious doubts the match would even be worthwhile. I may be wrong but that has disappointment written all over it to me. Taker at this point needs somebody to do a lot of the heavy lifting work-wise, and I don't see Lesnar being that guy.
Then again, I've never really cared for Lesnar so..
I doubt they ever face each other as they hate each other in real life and have made it very public. Have you seen the Lesnar UFC match where Taker is there and they have words? The big reason I saw that as the highlight match is because, after all these years, the biggest comment from Cole is how Taker is "The Best Pure Striker in the WWE." What better way to send out "The Best Pure Striker in the WWE" than to pit him against the only real superstar to successfully transition from WWE to UFC, the Superstar who won the UFC heavyweight championship on a TKO via punches.

I mean, yeah, it writes well, but I can't see the match translating live or on TV well at all.
I think it would have to be similar in booking and pace to the UT/HHH match, but I'm not sure I'd trust Lesnar to work it at the level it needs to be to make that match worth the hype.
That's what I loved with the HBK/UT matches (and to an extent Punk's). Shawn was able to carry the match and help cover the miles UT has on him.
This is where I wish there was an alternate universe where Dolph had done everything right and he could work a match like that.
I think we're gonna see either Batista/Lesnar or Batista/Reigns (if they try and supe up reigns)
What I wish they'd do is have Kane snap back into the monster and help Bryan beat the Wyatt's in a hell in a cell or even a Casket Match or a fire match, something. Then we get evil Kane (who they could reveal was brainwashed by the Wyatt's when he was beaten and let go because the mole was planted), Bryan finishes his rivalry on a high note, and we get to see that the Wyatt's were pure evil and genius all along as well. It spins Daniel into Belt contention and Kane into taking on the Wyatt's for revenge if they want.
But, that's middle school level writing, plot twists, and even a call back to something nobody remembers, so the WWE could never do it.
The default and most interesting answer has been for him to face Taker. Now I don't think that would be a good idea.
For one you don't want to bring Sting in and have him lose his first and possibly last match in WWE.
For another, at the age both guys are, I think it would be better for him to work a match with somebody younger that can carry the match. Somebody like Punk.
Never been a huge Sting fan, but him finally appearing in WWE is so intriguing. I imagine he'd get a big pop if he appeared in the Rumble. It would be better for him to debut on PPV, since PPV crowds are generally better and smarter than RAW crowds.
