There is a God

I still have to wonder what Ziggler did tho to get in the dog house

It could just be that he's the best seller, so he keeps getting paid to sell, to the detriment of his chances of moving up the ladder. At least he didn't get creamed in under four minutes tonight.

I give Vince a lot of flack for his booking decisions, but he is a good on-screen character and a good actor for what he does.

I wholeheartedly agree. When he put the screws to someone, you felt like it was real.
When Johnny flat-out says he's going to screw Punk, you just don't buy it. I think, "No you're not. You're a bumbling moron who can't do anything correctly."

well one of us is stupid then. I've always thought they wanted us to feel that way when Johnny spoke.

I don't know why they keep trying to let Johnny pull a Vince, but it's just not even remotely believable.

I think that is the problem. THere isn't another Vince so stop trying to be him and move on from the GM screw jobs. I personally wish they would go back and do sone faction battles again. Speaking of does any wish they would bring back the "War Games" match?

They've been trying to do it for years now since the original Vince vs. Austin in 97. They caught lightning in a bottle with the anti hero vs the over bearing authority figure back then and have never been able to duplicate it too the same extent since. They've tried it with Bischoff, Coachman(from a comedy standpoint), and Stephanie McMahon. The closest they've come to duplicating it from a crowd heat standpoint was with Vickie during her GM days on Smackdown with Edge.

I'd like to. Just got my "YES YES YES" t-shirt today (only 3rd time I've ever bought a wrasslin shirt) that I would love to wear. But sadly scheduling conflict.

I think there are many reasons why house shows are better.

For one, there's more action. You don't have to sit thru all the stupid video packages and go thru all the stuff that happens during commercial breaks. It really is just a wrestling show.

Also, from my experience, the show seems more personalized to the local crowd. On TV they're more worried about playing to the worldwide audience. In house shows, the wrestlers seem to interact with the fans more.

Whenever I watch a house show, I'm reminded and amazed at how many times a year these guys go thru this. Its a rough, circus schedule. I get nitpicky a lot, and justifiably so, but I can't deny that most of these guys do work their butts off (usually my real beef is with the bookers). And often times they'll come up with something creative just for the local crowd. You'll see stuff that you'd never see on TV.

Show has been alright so far. Epico/Primo and Truth and Santino led off and it was a pretty good match. Tensai was in a squash. Ryder beat someone from Florida champ wrestling and clay beat swagger. Should have a few matches left. Punk, Jericho, and cena yet to appear.
