This is God awful. Cements in my mind that Vince has truly lost his marbles and needs to go away.

Such a shame, cause nobody really cares about these musical performances. Should've gave this time to Bryan/Sheamus.

Edit: Ok, the Rock is NOT from Miami

"Greatest main event in Wrestlemania history..." Such crap commentary. This is a joke of a match. No build up. Tried too hard to create animosity that can't be created without matches and/or at least physical confrontation.

Also coming from the same commentators that said we've been waiting a long time for Orton and Kane.

That card left a horrible taste in my mouth after Bryan/Sheamus. I cannot believe that happened and we treated a 4 month "World Heavyweight Title" reign like it was the Hardcore or European title.

I mean Orton/Kane was not half as bad as I expected it to be, but following that travesty was horrible timing. Cody/Show wasn't any good either and the Divas match I spaced out from. The crowd ended up exhausted after HHH/Taker, and the 12-man was just bad.

Punk/Jericho was a good match, I'm not sure why everyone's seemingly sour on it, but I agree that the story was weak. They should've just had a one-up marathon to drive this feud over being "the best" but instead they killed Jericho's heat in the Rumble, he only wrestled about 2-3 times on TV up until last night, and we had a 5th grade playground insult-fest as the driving focus of the storyline.

Rock/Cena got things energized again, but both of these men really just do the "same old ****" that gets chanted at them, even when it's the main event of Wrestlemania. I understand that's the point, I understand that the intensity is there, but stripping it down it's not like that was the best WM main event in history, that's for sure.

Punk - Jericho put on the best match. Take away the God awful storyline and just watch the work they did in the ring, it was fantastic.

HHH - Taker was good too, but it felt just like last year. It was nice seeing those 3 ride off in the sunset so to speak though.

Saw a good point made about the cell being pointless in HIAC. I don't really remember them using it for anything.

Also have to laugh at people that think this is going to lead to a heel turn or even character development for Cena. Not gonna happen. We'll get the same Cena tonight that we've been getting for years now. Wouldn't be surprised if he moves into a feud with Punk now and gets the belt back in Chicago at ER.

I would almost like to see it happen just to see the carnage. They better have lots of extra security.

So what's everyone make of all the Brock Lesnar rumors? All the wrestling boards were so sure he'd come back last night, but I was skeptical and remain skeptical.

I think they're trying to work out a deal, but it all depends on if they come to a mutual agreement. I assume he'll show up tonight, to start something with Undertaker. Personally I don't want to see him back unless he brings Heyman back with him. Good MMA fighter, but I thought he was a boring wrestler. He came to prominence around the time that I stopped watching regularly, and he was one of the reasons I stopped. Didn't like the push they were giving him. They paid for it, and rightfully so IMO.

And I don't want to see anymore of this part-timer nonsense in the main event, unless its Austin/Punk.

I tend to agree, I don't think Lesnar is horrible in the ring but it's not like he's an amazing captivating personality either. I wasn't watching much during his initial push either. I just think this marketing of the off & on superstar is going to get very old, very quickly. They may win these 'dream' matches like we had last night sometimes, but more often than not, they'll job and be out of sight, out of mind again in a few months.

It seriously devalues the titles, because they put these occasional/returning superstars on a main event platform yet won't be challenging for a title, holding a title at all, or holding a title for long.

I'm watching it now, and my favorite moment thus far, at the end of the Punk match, is "Tap out you son of a btch"
