Yup. His comeback a few years ago was botched too, til they turned him heel. I think they're going for the heel effect here, but its really not working.

Yeah, I definitely agree they're going for the heel effect, but it's definitely not working. They've botched the whole CM Punk thing as well. That was hot as hell this past summer, and look at it now...Dolph Zigler, really?
Another thing that pisses me off is the uncertainty of Laurinaitis. I don't know if it would do much because the story lines are already pretty lame, but they should make him the Vince to CM's Stone Cold....not some guy that screws him one week and is okay the next week.
And finally, the Miz/R-Truth story is probably one of the worst botches. R-Truth kills as a heel, and the fans are dying for Miz to be a face. He could be one of the top faces in the company right now, as they don't really have one at the moment.
Aye they should flip-flop Miz and Truth. Miz just isn't believable enough to me as the angry heel. His facial expressions just look too childish. And Truth attacking Ricardo was even kinda a dick move.
That RAW was horrendous. If Jordan Jefferson wasn't equally horrendous, I wouldn't have even flipped to it.
I'll give them a chance to see where they're going with this, but in the 2nd week the guy solicited fewer boos (if any) than the week prior. That's not a good sign.
If it goes back to the same old Jericho cutting promos about amoebas etc, then this has been a huge waste of time.
I think that he'll continue to come out and not speak until the crowd starts booing him...then he will turn heel. Everyone is so excited that he's back now, he'll get a good pop no matter what he says.
That came across as an audible to me. The whole "end of the world" thing seemed to be a portent for Jericho winning, but now it seems pointless. I guess they didn't want to be predictable.
Surely it will be Jericho/Punk and Sheamus/Bryan for WM.
