Fair enough, I am not taking the pi*s or anything, just interested. I respect that everyone has there own enjoyments..

No, I would think you all knew it's not real, I mean do you really care who wins belts and stuff, and shout at the tv during fights. That sort of serious.

Its an action TV show with a storyline, ie a soap opera for men. Its just like any other TV show like Burn Notice or Breaking Bad (altho not as well written obviously) in that we tune in to see what is going to happen to the characters.

You're thinking of it more along the lines of a real sporting event (I do get mad and yell during football games) but its really just a fictional TV show (I don't get mad and yell at Burn Notice).

Not saying there aren't people who do that tho. There are people who get caught in the heat of the moment and yell at a match when one of their favorites is involved, but I doubt they sit and stew over it like we would a UT game.

tldr; if CM Punk loses the belt to the Miz, I don't yell at Punk or the Miz. I think in my head, "Vince McMahon sucks."

I wonder which dinozord is his

Green Ranger, Celtic Ranger, Celtic Warrior...

All better nicknames than "The Great White"

I agree with that, for sure. Why the hell did they land on that?

Oh, and on a side note, the "what" thing annoys the everloving sht out of me. Shut the hell up and let them act.

I'm sure its made him a lot of money (like he needed it), but wonder if Vince is sorry he ever approved that. Even he is clearly annoyed by it when he tries to talk.

I remember Undertaker as a heel biker tell the crowd "say what if you sleep with your sister." it shut them up.

That was awesome. Totally owned that crowd. Vince also did something similar:

Been watching the latest SCSA Blu-Ray. Really, really good set btw. Some of the audio commentary on the matches by Austin and JR is pretty cool, especially the WM13 match with Hart and Austin. Documentary is top notch. Anyways, Austin said the best way to combat the "What" chant is to be quick with your delivery. What? Know what you're gonna say. What? Don't take dramatic pauses. What? Only pause to get a cheer or a boo.

Another way is to do what Vince and Taker did. I think another way is to play off it like Austin does. Jericho was really good at doing that.

WWE superstars are so lucky tbh.. All they do is workout, travel, and learn how to act, while getting paid millions..

And they don't get to workout much. That's why when someone hs been "away" for a while and comes back you think "Wow he's in the best shape of his career!" yeah becuase he had time to eat a healthier diet than the road allows and time to workout.

I haven't watched wrestling in years. And by years I mean like 10 to 12 years. I really stopped watching once the NWO "jumped the shark" and split into Hollywood and Wolfpack factions. I had outgrown it. I've caught it on a couple times, I've seen some things here and there. I was really upset with the direction that the attitude era took the show. I don't care what any overgrown man-boy tries to tell me, it's a show for kids. I wouldn't have let a kid watch it. I know alot of people ***** about the PG era, but I hope it stays toned down. I have an 8 month old son, and I would like to start watching it again with him. Some of my fondest memories are watching Hulk Hogan(that's what I called any wrestling program) with my Dad and younger brother. I know he can't get into it as much as say a 2 or 3 year old, but tonight we're going to watch Raw for the first time in many many years. Hopefully I'm satisfied that I can let him watch something that's just plain fun for a little boy. To the rest of you thanks for being fans and keeping it alive in any capacity so I have something to come back to and show my kid.

It's great fun to berate a kid's favorite superstar, I been doing it for years.

I don't think the PG programming is as good as the edgier stuff, at the same time you don't have as many ridiculous storylines like Vince fighting God, Vince getting killed, HHH/Katie Vick, the HLA (Hot Lesbian Action), etc;

thought this funny
-- CNBC sports business reporter Darren Rovell stated that John Cena will be featured on three million boxes of Post's Fruity Pebbles cereal over the next three months.
As part of the promotion, Post is holding a contest for one fan to meet John Cena, win "fantastic seats" to a WWE event and Cena gear.

A little too early for Edge for HoF. Should be a lock, but I see him as a guy who should be a headliner down the road.
