How did I know the young punks would show up when the oldtimers were reminescing in the ring. How come the big dogs don't outlflank the punks?

He is. Rumors floating around that Carter, Bischoff, and Hogan want to use Scott Hall's money to hire him. The problem is that half of the locker room has told them if that happens, they walk. TNA management made the mistake of promising Big Kev they would keep Hall on the payroll while he takes another stab at rehab. Flair is pushing for Batista so he can make him the centerpiece of Fortune.

Don't have a ton of inside insight, but I think he had some sand in his crotch over Triple H getting the recent movie deal over him.

That may have just been the straw that broke the camel's back though...he'd been rumored to be unhappy for a long time.

I think Vince came to the realization most of us did three years ago. Batista is nothing but a slightly more intelligent Sid Vicious.

I'm a Hall guy, but TNA gets more bang for its buck by signing Batista (assuming they keep the rest of the roster in place).

Hall's just not going to contribute at a high level ever again (at least not in-ring). TNA may be able to squeeze a couple of decent years out of Batista.

And, if Dave's smart, he'll avoid the humiliation of the MMA thing. He doesn't really want the legitimate ass kickings that'd come his way. Career suicide.

Yep, and had the balls to say "no", even at the risk of losing Batista.

He did the right thing. Odds are, Batista will see that he doesn't have a prayer in MMA, can't match his WWE coin in TNA, and will end up crawling back to Vince.

Apparently, as he always does, Big Kev has done a great job of playing politics. He's convinced guys like Roode, Storm, Styles, and Kazarian that Batista is a cancer who will walk in and screw them over. Angle hates him, too. Thus, Flair's really the only guy selling him.
