I have just started watching AWA reruns instead of RAW...... which brings the question...where would Vince be without the likes of Verne Gagne?

I was just reading a wrestling website and it has mentions of Jeff Jarrett being in trouble with the Carters for living with Karen Angle, Kurt's now ex-wife. Has anyone else heard this and how was Victory Road last night?

Damn...this could have been the worst 20 minutes in WWE/WWF/AWA/WCW/NWA history.

Cena and HHH talk about hobbits.

Santino plays air guitar with ZZ Top.

What's next?

This is my first time watching WWE since WM XIX. Cena has to be the worst character ever. I think he could be pretty decent with a heel turn.

Is it just me or does it seem like it has gone back to the New Generation type appeal - towards a younger audience?

Is Jericho still wrestling? He was always my favorite towards the end of my viewing.

You should start watching again, Jericho has been lights out.

Watching Smackdown now, Hardy and Jericho had a decent match. CM Punk finally tears into the crowd, but I think they're too dumb to be offended, he needs to get more heat!

A-to the-men. JT5 loves some BMI. Huge Rob Roode fan.
As usual, our commendation was the kiss of death. Good to see Jarrett and Co. borrowing from the Eric Bischoff model of how to kill a wrestling company and giving the MEM all the straps. Brilliant.

The Mafia's getting watered down in a hurry. It's discouraging to see them making the same stupid mistakes that WCW did with the NWO.

The similarities are frustrating. Now in comes Bobby Lashley to play the role of Goldberg.

The befuddling thing to me is that Big Sexy and Steiner will both readily admit they are shadows of their former selves. How does it benefit the development of your young guys to have them jobbing to past their primers?

The NWO was genius at the inception, rivaling the greatest faction of all-time, the Four Horsemen. When the Horsemen had all of the belts, it worked.

The NWO got watered down/diluted/polluted, and once chopboys like Scott Norton and Virgil became members, it was all over.

Surely Jarrett knows history, and can learn from the past mistakes.

The only entertaining part with the Steiner Big Sexy match up was the one comentator building up the two bum body guards. There was a tiny glimmer of Jesse Ventura in the delivery.

It's rare for West to entertain me, but I did get a chuckle out of his work during the Nash/Amazing Red match.

They are beginning to remind me of WCW with their monthly celebrities in the late 90s. And that's one thing I'd rather forget from WCW.

That was comfortably among the worst 2 or 3 RAWs I've ever seen.

"Summerfest" is going to be horrendous.

Anyone who doesn't believe competition is essential to any industry need only look at what has happened to the WWE since they became the lone big dog in the yard.
